Weve Just had a lovely 5 night stay at the hotel. The hotel is very clean and has a great atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and professional, our breakfast on a morning was great for the price paid a decent selection was on offer and the setting by the pool made for a nice start to each day. The pool area is again clean and tidy with plenty of loungers and a pool. The pool bar was well staffed and had a good selection of drinks and snacks. The hotel is within walking distance of the old town Square the lovely beach through the tunnel and also the vibrant marina area is only a 10 minute walk away. The area leading to the hotel is a little hilly though so worth bearing in mind if you have any mobility issues. Overall would highly recommend for a trip away at a very reasonable price.

Hotel is lovely but there food was awful u can just tell they cook the food and just store it in the hot cupboard probably not even storing it in the right temperature even the fruit is off worst food I have had in my life

we stayed for a week from 9th october for both our birthdays,beautiful hotel,so quiet and clean,beds so comfy,lots of little nooks to hide away in,breakfast was beautiful,cant fault the place at all,loved it! already looking at going back next year,not one bad thing i can say,wish i could work those lifts out,how did we get across the road in the lift?? :)

What a gem of a hotel, quirky yet functional. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, all of them greeted you with a smile. Great facilities, swimming pool, restaurant and evening cocktail bar with entertainment on several nights.

Another excellent stay with Hotel Do Cerro. We have been coming here for 10 years now after coming for our honeymoon apart from covid. Just a fantastic time and stay once again. A big thank you to the reception staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home. I would like to say a big thank you for our stay in room 3 again and the flowers for our wedding anniversary just so appreciated from us both. Food was just wonderful again everything you would want for breakfast. A big thank you to the Staff in the restaurant for breakfast. Nothing to much trouble if you want extra of something no problem just ask. We have already booked for July 2026 for my big 50th I couldn't wish to spend it anywhere else. If you go to this hotel on B&B basis and want to eat out. I strongly recommend down the marina a lovely place called Fat Cats. Just lovely food and very good price highly recommended. Once again me and my wife just can not thank everyone at this beautiful hotel enough. Can not wait to see everyone again in July. If you are looking for a beautiful Hotel lovely people come to Hotel Do Cerro you will not be disappointed

Very friendly family run hotel. Stayed on B&B basis which we found suited our needs as we were meeting friends who were staying another location. The system of choosing breakfast each morning worked well, fast efficient table service. If there was anything to complain about was the toast, this was always cold and under done. The hotel was located at the highest point possible not recommended for anyone with mobility issues, although once you got your breath back after climbing the hills the view over Albufeira was beautiful. Rooms not luxurious but serviced daily. Beds were slightly hard for my liking. Entertainment in the bar most nights not fantastic but enough background music to relax to. Pedro the barman was very friendly, always had time for a chat. Would recommend the hotel if you want a relaxing holiday spent around the pool but be prepared to walk about 15 minutes to the square or use a taxi

Nice hotel for a family stay. Easy to get to old town and the beach. Theres a longer way walking past shops and Solgama (nice restaurant to visit) or down a steep slope cuts down to the elevator by the beach. Either way for us we just walked easily but you could uber. We brang a travel kettle with us so didnt pay the charge and got coffee from the mini market. We also brang swimming caps tor the indoor pool but used the outdoor pool instead twice. We brang our own beach towels. We preferred going to the beach then staying at hotel. Theres a nice reading room with chess boards by the swimming pool to relax in as well. Room was clean and beds were made daily. Air con worked well in the room. TV with 5 English channels. Small hairdryer in bathroom. Shower was nice. Only thing is bath towels were a bit small and not that fluffy. Had a nice small balcony to enjoy a morning coffee on with a sea/beach view on 2nd floor. Mini fridge for milk/water etc and they give you a small bottle of water for free at the start (theres a mini market less than 5 mins away to buy big bottles of water from). Bar had nice pina coladas which were reasonable price. Breakfast was nice and you ticked what you wanted on a sheet when you sat down. Coffee was nice and they did soya milk. Was nice to have breakfast by the pool. Pool opened late 10am-7pm but theres a big one and a smaller one at the back. Check out was 12 which was good and late compared to UK standards. All the staff were friendly and nice. We had a nice time. I would stay again.

Lovely hotel . Very chilled atmosphere , the ladies on reception were so helpful and friendly. The cocktail bar and rooftop bar are very clean and modern . Our room was cleaned regularly.. Breakfast was beautiful every day and extremely generous portions! I loved that this hotel was accessible to the old town but away from the hectic night scene.. recommend downloading the uber app for transport as the prices are extremely fair . The bar staff are lovely and friendly and the entertainment was great. The only negative was the flies at our balcony but we bought a citronella candle from the wee supermarket (4min walk) and that helped a lot. Air conditioning was great and English tv channels .

We stay for week at the end of March and really enjoyed our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained and cleaning throughout the week was great. We loved the breakfast! The tick box system worked very well. I prefered this to buffet style as there's much less food waste and food is hot. The quality was excellent and efficiently served. The staff on breakfasts were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Other staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful too. We didn't use the pool as we prefer to be out exploring or on the beach but from what we could see, the pool area was a good size with plenty of sunbeds. The high location of the hotel meant we had a lovely view down to the sea. It is on hill but so is most of the old town. There are many routes down and it takes 5 minutes or so to get to the beach front lift. Overall we really rated this friendly hotel and the staff highly and would certainly stay there again on our next visit. We loved this area of the Algarve.

First of all the positives. Nice friendly helpful staff. Clean hotel. Nice evening meals. Good evening bar area with sky sport. Comfy pillows Sea view Negatives. Bed really hard Had to pay extra for kettle euro a day. No tea or coffee provided. Only one lot of toiletries given eg. Tiny shower gel Breakfast made to order but basic would prefer buffer style Would say hotel is more a 3 star than 4 Our room wasn't clean until 3.45 pm each day There is a big long list of rules to follow.
