Room carpet was stained, staff at check in not welcoming. Fire alarm during the night, noisy elevator and no fan in the bathrrom or room. Priced ridiculous for dirty room and "resort fees" added at end of checkout

Great location, everything is walkable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We brought our dogs and the hotel is very dog friendly. We would stay here again!

the room was gorgeous & spacious! really appreciated the prpoerty's communication throughout our stay. every staff member we encountered was polite and accomodating. would absolutely stay here again!

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. Clean, nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable! The water pressure on the sink was weak. The shower was great.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Staff was wonderful. Room was super clean and very spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Perfect location downtown.

Beautiful hotel, very classy. Service was excellent with many little treats - a delicious welcome cocktail, Nespresso coffee, loved the record player in our room with jazz records. Don’t skip Frankie and the Fox restaurant!

The staff and everyone was super nice and accommodating. They even helped us move rooms since our first room was very noisy. We tried our best to ignore but they moved us to the 4th floor which was a much nicer stay from that regard. The main thing for us was the cleanliness of it all. So everything seemed cleaned for the most part but there were ants all over the room. We first noticed from a cleanliness perspective when we were looking to call the front desk and noticed the phone was disconnected. When I went to go look behind to connect it, it was extremely dusty back there and as I looked up towards the top of the head board, it was pretty dusty too. The biggest thing were the ants though. We noticed them a lot in the bathroom and in the desk area of the room. Mainly in the bathroom though, there was a lot in the bathroom. Overall, the staff was super nice and everything was super close, but the cleanliness was the biggest thing for us.

We had a wonderful stay at Christmas time. The hotel was beautifully decorated. Check in was easy, we were offered a$20 upgrade for our room, which we accepted and we enjoyed our 3 nights in a suite- lovely! The courtyard was also decorated and the outdoor fireplace was always blazing. We liked having a glass of wine in the evening. We also loved “The Den” bar! The pizza was yummy! Such a cool experience- we will definitely stay here next time we are in Charleston!

First-class Experience. The hotel is well situated near Charleston’s main sites. We found the staff to be exceptional. Thanh from the front desk was especially helpful.
