The room was average, but the staff and breakfast buffet were excellent.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were so friendly and the hotel was cozy and clean. I enjoyed going in the beautiful sauna and steam room. For dinner they served a beautiful 5 course meal that was delicious and fresh. The breakfast was also amazing! I will definitely be recommending this hotel to everyone who passes through vipiteno, and I hope to come back here again!

If you want to feel welcomed, this is the place to go. Very comfortable room in a cozy hotel with superb breakfast I will go back to this gorgeous place and stay at Hotel Erna.

Very friendly welcome, charming room, and great breakfast. I especially enjoyed the crescent rolls! It's right by a train station, and you can get a pass that allows free train travel though Bolzano. And if you play tennis, the hotel has a court!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Erna in Colle Isarco on our way home from Abruzzo, Italy to Germany. Hotel Erna is near the very cute town of Vipiteno, where I had visited once before. I thought it would make a good stop for shopping, and I was right! We arrived to a warm welcome on rainy Friday evening. Since our visit was during the off season, the restaurant was closed. However, there are two little shops within walking distance of the hotel. There's also a train station right by the hotel, and you can get free train fare with the tourist card you get when you check in. We had a corner room with two big balconies that overlooked the scenic area. The room was otherwise fairly basic, but nice. They'd even arranged our duvets into hearts! What really blew me away, though, were the delicious, warm crescent rolls at breakfast. They weren't flaky like croissants, but were more like rolls filled with sweet paste and topped with toasted almonds. They were SO good! Hotel Erna had plenty of free parking during our visit, and there was even a tennis court in the back. Unfortunately, it rained and snowed during our visit. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it to families. It's very clean and well run, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I'd go back!
