A small quiet haveli, conveniently located within walking distance to Jaisalmer Fort and shopping area. Good service and staff were friendly and helpful. Clean and spacious room with confortable beds. View of sunrise/sunset from the rooftop restaurant was fantastic. Worth the climb up those steps.

Nous avons passé un agréable sejour a l'h?tel Fifu. Notre chambre était un peu petite mais très propre et confortable. Le personnel est très gentil et attentionné. Le d?ner et le petit déjeuner sont bon et copieux et servis sur la terrasse avec vue sur le fort. L'h?tel est a une douzaine de minutes a pied du fort et il est très calme.

Der Mensch, der dieses Hotel entworfen hat, hat ganz sicher noch nie selbst in einem übernachtet, sonst w?re ihm aufgefallen, wie unglaublich dysfunktional die Zimmer sind. Zu den positiven Seiten z?hlt die gute Lage, die Innenstadt ist zu Fu? erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind im Stil von 1000 und einer Nacht gestaltet, sehr hübsch gemacht. Besonders sch?n ist auch das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die goldene Festung. Auf Wunsch gibt es Heizlüfter, denn es gibt keine Heizung im Hotel, was in k?lteren Monaten relevant ist. Die Zimmerausstattung meines Doppelzimmers zur Einzelnutzung wirkt auf den ersten Blick ansprechend, hat aber viele praktische Schw?chen. Es gibt viele sch?ne Lampen im Zimmer, aber das Lichtschalterkonzept ist so konfus, dass *** irgendwann keine Lust mehr auf Licht hat. Au?erdem l?sst sich weder von der Tür noch vom Bett aus das gesamte Licht ein- oder ausschalten. Es gibt einen super kleinen Flachbildfernseher, einen Kühlschrank und einen Wasserkocher. Jedes Zimmer hat seinen eigenen Hei?wasserboiler, in den aber nur 50 Liter hineingehen – das reicht genau für eine Person alleine zum Haarewaschen, Duschen nacheinander ist also kaum m?glich. Das Badezimmer ist ebenfalls problematisch. Trotz diverser Lampen ist es etwas finster, und ein Dunstabzug ist nicht vorhanden. Nach dem Duschen steht das gesamte Badezimmer unter Wasser, aber es gibt zumindest einen Handabzieher, um das Wasser beiseite zu wischen. Einen Toilettenpapierhalter gibt es nicht. Der Wasserdruck ist beklagenswert. Im Badezimmer fehlt es leider an jeglicher Ablagefl?che, und es h?tten auch ruhig ein paar Haken an der Wand sein dürfen. Das Zimmer verfügt über einen kleinen Erker mit Polster, eigentlich hübsch gemacht, um zu sitzen und rauszuschauen. Darüber hinaus gibt es aber leider keine Ablagefl?che und keinen Schrank. Stattdessen gibt es vier Garderobenhaken mit vier Bügeln. Darunter steht der Wasserkocher. Wenn du als Tourist mit etwas mehr Gep?ck als nur einem K?fferchen unterwegs bist, bist du st?ndig am Hin- und Herjonglieren, kannst nichts auspacken, nichts aufh?ngen und nichts ablegen. Das hat mich wirklich kolossal genervt. Abschlie?end noch ein weiterer positiver Punkt: W?scheservice vorhanden, klopft allerdings nachts um 23 Uhr an die Tür, um die W?sche zurückzubringen. Fazit: Unterm Strich ist das Hotel optisch sehr ansprechend und gut gelegen, scheitert aber an grundlegender Funktionalit?t. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt mit leichtem Gep?ck und Fokus auf Lage und Atmosph?re mag es ausreichen. Wer jedoch Wert auf Komfort, Stauraum und praktikable Zimmer legt oder l?nger bleibt, sollte sich dieser Einschr?nkungen bewusst sein.

Hotel pulitissimo, lenzuola e asciugamani immacolati. Camera pulitissima e acqua calda nel bagno. Staff molto gentili.

Hotel Fifu is a wonderful place to stay, good value for money, lovely rooms, great food, friendly and attentive staff and close to the fort. They also organise good camel safaris and other excursions. This was my favourite hotel of my India trip.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Fifu during my two-day stopover in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. The owner, Fifu, is a lovely and hospitable ***. I booked the Fifu desert camp experience and my driver/guide, Khambir, was excellent and spoke good English. Hotel staff were very helpful in making arrangements/logistics. The hotel restaurant is very good. Loved the onion and cheese omelette for breakfast and enjoyed the best palak paneer of my life accompanied by garlic cheese naan. The savory spices and palak/onion/paneer blend was delicious!

A true Rajasthan experience for our days stay at Jaisalmer. The beautiful Jaisalmer fort is visible from the balcony of the deluxe room. All day all night it was a glory to watch. The food served was excellent and to our taste. The building is now 30 years old and it exudes the tradition. Owner fifu ji and his sons are really helpful and so is their staff.

The room was pretty, comfortable, and clean. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was lovely with a beautiful view.

One of the most beautiful rooms we had in our trip around India was Fifu hotel’s! it was plenty of small details apart from the beautiful decoration, like high quality amenities on the bathroom, coffee on the room or a rooftop with views to the fort to enjoy a relaxing dinner/breakfast. But what really made the difference was the staff and specially Fifu, the owner, who were always there to provide you a nice chai, keep your luggage after check in or even allowing you to take a shower, which is an invaluable detail in an almost desert and incredibly hot (and beautiful) city like jaisalmer. The place is not in the centre itself but jaisalmer is not really big, so you can go to the fort or the main havelis by tuktuk in a few minutes.

had a double room booked but it was small so had to spend time up in the rooftop dining area which had a great view of the Fort in the distance, the waiting staff in the Restaurant very friendly and happy to help with cups of tea and at dinner time very pleasant to deal Food was really nice enjoyed it ...the location is not that great away from shops or food vendors not much around it, no lifts so had to walks up stairs to rooms & restaurant
