The hotel is a bit dates. The breakfast good. The staff very helpful. We booked an oceanview room but you could onl see the ocean when turning your head 90 degrees while on the balcony. And even then only a bit underneath the palm trees. Our room had a connecting door with a blind window in which means you might have lights illuminated when you want to sleep and your neighbours have their lights still on. Weird… And only two large towels but no small one is Bad standard.

Arrived after last flight from Sydney to a cold room in dark motel ***** at back of closed restaurant. Room that took forever to warm up. Would be good practice to warm room before check in. Dirty towel from last guest hanging over closet rail so did not even use closet. Good thing this was only one night before hitting the road. Should have stayed in city given the price of this accommodation. Travelling for work - made for a rocky start to my week. No plan for how I would get into room. By luck one lovely staff at the restaurant retrieved key. No message with late check in instructions. Odd business management.

The room was clean and comfy. The facility was easy to get to and in a good location for exploring the rest of southern Tassie. Twenty minutes from Hobart means that you don't have to deal with the city noise. The food options were plentiful at the restaurant and the prices were reasonable. The Asian fusion place next door is amazing and just adds another reason to stay at the hotel. Two weeks and I never ran out of options for food. Area is quiet at night, so you get a good sleep. Will definitely stay here again.
