Abbiamo soggiornato in questo garni nella settimana di Capodanno. La posizione è ottima e la fermata dei bus è proprio davanti. La colazione non ha niente da invidiare ad un hotel a 4 stelle, con un buffet ricco e sempre ben assortito. Le responsabili della colazione sono gentilissime e sorridenti, così come i proprietari. C’è possibilità il pomeriggio fino alle 20 di fare un aperitivo/merenda(che può definirsi anche cena) con uova e rosti di patate, panini e toast, oltre che dolci e coppe di gelato superlative. I gentili proprietari ci hanno anche dato la possibilità di prendere le pizze dalla vicinissima pizzeria e di consumarle nella loro saletta. La camera era comoda, anche se piccola(in 3 comunque stavamo bene), il bagno era piuttosto vecchio e un po’scomodo e avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione. Siamo stati comunque molto bene e lo consiglio.

Man kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Die Lage, die Zimmer und das Frühstück sind ausgezeichnet. Vor allem aber die Freundlichkeit haben wir so noch nie wo anders erlebt auf allen Orten der Erde die wir bis jetzt bereist haben. BESSER GEHT ES EIGENTLICH NICHT.

Das Hotel Doris besticht durch sein sauberes und gut gepflegtes Erscheinungsbild, welches bereits beim Betreten ein Gefühl von Wohlbehagen vermittelt. Die Lage ist hervorragend, nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Ortsmitte entfernt, was es zu einem idealen Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen macht. Besonders hervorheben m?chte ich das überaus freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal sowie die Inhaber, die mit ihrer herzlichen Art ma?geblich zu einem angenehmen Aufenthalt beitragen. Jeden Morgen wird ein hervorragendes und reichhaltiges Frühstück serviert, das keine Wünsche offenl?sst. Ein besonderes Highlight sind die schmackhaften, selbstgemachten Kuchen und das Eis, die zweifellos einen zus?tzlichen Genussmoment bieten. Insgesamt ist das Hotel Doris ein wunderbarer Ort, um sich zu erholen und die Sch?nheit von Kastelruth zu genie?en. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt hier nur w?rmstens empfehlen.

Ottima soluzione per muoversi agevolmente con i mezzi pubblici nella zona, Colazione OTTIMA, personale e proprietari gentilissimi. Complessivamente la struttura ha bisogno di essere ammodernata ma è comunque pulita e funzionale. Parcheggio esterno e coperto senza costi aggiuntivi. Camere spaziose. Consigliatissimo

After two grueling days of travel, the doors of the bus opened, revealing the elevated front of Garni Doris. In addition to being situated to near to a bus stop, Garni Doris is a stone's throw from two restaurants - Saalstuben & Gasthof Toni. My best memories are of the Plankl family, especially Birgitta, who seems to do a bit of everything and tirelessly answered my many questions, as well as her toddler Sofia, who supplied enough cuteness to last a lifetime. As others have mentioned, the breakfast buffet at Garni Doris is amazing. Vanilla custard croissants, anyone? Upon request, a lovely transplant from Slovakia whose name escapes me, would bring a cappuccino right to my table. I had a single room with balcony that, while a bit spartan, provided for all of my needs. Some of the larger rooms have received bathroom upgrades. Between Garni Doris' breakfast buffet and the restaurants I had the pleasure of experiencing, Castelrotto should be considered a foodie dream destination. I can't wait to return.

Partendo da “letto matrimoniale più divanoletto” avevamo timore che la stanza fosse piccola invece è stata ben al di sopra delle aspettative. Spaziosa, bagno grande (dopo una settimana in Germania finalmente il bidet!) e vasca lunga tradizionale ma con il box (bambini felici di schizzare) e cabina armadio gigante! Colazione stratosferica, ambiente pulito, accogliente. Gestori sorridenti (hanno anche anticipato la quota per la valigia che abbiamo fatto spedire da casa) sempre disponibili. Prezzo del soggiorno ineccepibile. Unica pecca manca il frigobar in camera. Castelrotto e tutto l’Alto Adige per una settimana di relax è tra le cinque mete italiane migliori. Prenotare senza indugi.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The room was clean and romantic, perfect for a getaway with my boyfriend. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, offering plenty of choices. Plus, the location was ideal, just a short distance from the slopes for both skiing and cross-country. Highly recommend this place for a memorable stay! Oh, and did I mention you can get the best ice cream here? It's a must-try! We absolutely recommend this place for a great time!

Un hotel delizioso, curatissimo , stanze impeccabili e gestori davvero cordiali! Sono rimasto favorevolmente colpito dall abbondante colazione e dal servizio veloce e cortese. La sera poi è un posto ideale per un drink o un gelato meraviglioso prodotto in casa, e tutto questo a un paio di decine di metri dal centro del paese! il soggiorno è stato talmente gradevole che abbiamo chiesto e ottenuto (siamo stati fortunati in questo periodo!) di prolungare di due giorni .Torneremo presto sicuramente A delightful, well-kept hotel, impeccable rooms and really friendly managers! I was impressed by the abundant breakfast and the fast and courteous service. Then in the evening it is an ideal place for a drink or a wonderful homemade ice cream, and all this just few meters from the town center! Our stay was so pleasant that we asked and obtained (we were lucky to get it in this month!) to extend it by two days. We will definitely be back soon!!!

Loved our stay at the Doris. Breakfast was abundant and varied. Their evening snack options were just the job. Stefan and Birgitta were fabulous friendly hosts and little Sofia a real cutie! Perfect position for the ski bus and walking to the charming town of Castelrotto. Look forward to staying again in January.

Sono stata al Garni Doris per una merenda, abbiamo preso una coppa di gelato, una fetta di strudel e un succo di sambuco. Gelato casalingo molto buono, ottimo lo strudel, prezzi ragionevoli Consigliato!
