Booked this last minute. Had a lovely stay. Room was small but comfortable, had everything we needed. Everything was very clean. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good. There was a very large group there when we were, which made the breakfast room a bit busy but we were in no rush! Charming a quirky hotel in the very heart of Ortigia.
Excellent front desk staff. Very tasteful decorations. Get the balcony. Great breeze off the ocean. Loved the spacious room. Close to parking garage was great.
Perfect location in discovering the marvels of the island of Ortigia . Big spacious airy rooms with good bathrooms . Fabulous breakfast and friendly staff what else could you ask for .
E’ la seconda volta che soggiorno in questo piccolo hotel e mi trovo benissimo ; anche questa volta abbiamo avuto la camera 13. Una tripla con balconcino da cui si vede uno scorcio di mare… posizione ottima con possibilità di parcheggio ??? in 4 posti liberi o al parcheggio talete a pagamento. Abbiamo cenato sulla terrazza molto bene con piatti vegetariani ma con vista super, cibo buono. Siamo rimasti in hotel 4 giorni unico suggerimento che vorrei dare e’ sulla colazione: prodotti ottimi e freschi ma dovrebbero variare un po’ nella settimana perché abbiamo mangiato le stesse identiche cose per 4 mattine. Ps : non può mancare il latte d’avena
Hotel sul lungomare di Ortigia con bellissima terrazza che la sera diventa uno spazio drink e per il ristorante vegano. La posizione è centralissima e consente di muoversi a piedi. Stanze grandi, climatizzate, con cassaforte, confortevoli e molto curate con un arredamento semplice ma con molta personalità. Alcune hanno una deliziosa vista mare. Il personale è molto accogliente e attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Paola è la proprietaria ed è spesso presente perché vive in hotel, Cristiana è la responsabile della reception e la dirige con passione, gentilezza, disponibilità e professionalità uniche. Le colazioni sono eccellenti, servite con prodotti locali e le marmellate sono fatte da loro. Un hotel sul mare in cui è come sentirsi a casa: sarà la nostra base a Ortigia.
Centrally located with long term parking only 200m away. They will register your car for access to the ZTL zones avoiding fines.Very friendly helpful staff . Good sized clean rooms with large bathrooms and great showers. Has a vegetarian restaurant and breakfast. This was my second visit to this hotel.
We stayed here with a group of sevl friends- some were in the main hotel and some were in the annex. The annex is 4 doors down the street fr main hotel. We landed in the annex and it was NOT Good! Our room was one floor up. Below us was the entry door to the annex- this is a heavy door which must be unlocked w a key for entry from street. Every time someone enters or leaves the bldg, the heav door Slams, Banging Loudly, with a bang that shakes the floor. More than once the door slam woke us from sleep. It is v bad! If you are in the main hotel you come and go with no need to unlock or slam the door. Not so in Annex. We checked w friends in the annex whose rooms were Not directly above the heavy door, and they had the same complaint re lound banging of the door. In addition, when you want to ck w main desk or go for breakfast or check w staff for any thing, you have to exit bldg and remember key to get back in, and then go outside and walk 4 doors down the street. May seem trivial for a one nite stay but we were here for many nites and overall. It was a real pain! On the plus side- staff were kind and friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was above average. Staff let us do a late ck out and stored our luggage. Great staff! IF we had stayed in the main bldg, the review would be 5 stars. But the banging door was so horrible, and inconvenient with keyed entry every time- we feel we are being generous w minimal stars. DO NOT STAY IN ANNEX!
I loved this hotel. Shabby chic at its best. Staff were friendly. The breakfast was lovely. The room was comfortable. We had a room with a sea view which was in a perfect position to watch the sun rise. (Picture provided). When I return to Siracusa I will 100% go back to this hotel. This hotel offers great value for money
Superbe emplacement. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Tout dans l'h?tel Gutkowski est aménagé avec go?t et sobriété. Chambre spacieuse non surchargée de meubles, charme de quelques objets anciens soigneusement choisis. Personnel aimable et réactif. Le meilleur petit déjeuner imaginable! Tout y est: buffet sucré/salé, produits locaux, confitures faites maison, délicieux miel. Je recommande chaleureusement.
