We had a great stay at Hotel Indalo! It is on a quiet street but just a quick walk to the main road where you can grab food or visit the beach. The streets to get back to the hotel were well lit at night and we felt safe walking back after dark. The room was well appointed but bring your own shampoo/conditioner/body wash. As others have pointed out, the beds are firm - which we like and we slept well here. We stayed in room 11 and had a great view of the pool/garden and the forest behind the property from our patio. We were sad to check out and would definitely stay again.

A beautiful hotel in the midst of a rainforest setting, yet only minutes away from the beach, great restaurants and other attractions. The rooms are pretty and architecturally interesting, all with views of the lush Birds of Paradise and Halyconia filled gardens.

We had a quick stay in Puerto Viejo and needed a relatively inexpensive place. This was a great choice. It's very comfortable, had good air conditioning and the facilities worked great. It's in a safe location, close to the beaches and main roads.

Un hotel perfetto per visitare Puerto Viejo. La posizione è molto comoda e le camere sono grandi, belle e ben attrezzate. C’è anche una piccola piscina. Un ringraziamento a proprietario e personale per la gentilezza e la professionalità.

Excelente opción de hospedaje. Cumple con el principio de precio calidad. Lo recomiendo y de hecho repetiré la próxima ocasión en regrese a Puerto Viejo. Cerca del centro pero sin ruidos externos. La piscina peque?a pero apenas para refrescarse

Encantadores, la habitación perfecta y muy limpia, la piscina una gozada y María y Gonzalo encantadores. Todo el tiempo dándome referencias de sitios a los que visitar. El hotel está céntrico, muy cerca de las playas y lo mejor es que es muy tranquilo. Un viaje perfecto. Volveré

Our experience concurs with all the other positive reviews so I won't repeat them all here. The facilities were accurately described and good value. The excellent location is readily accessible to restaurants and other activities yet away from the hubbub for good relaxation. The pleasant, helpful staff were eager to meet our needs, including special help by Gonzolo in arranging transportation to San Jose when both routes were closed! We will definitely stay here on any return trip.

I spent a month there and had a great time in this immaculately clean and superbly maintained little hotel. Gonzalo and all of the staff were very warm, friendly and inviting. The response to any concerns was unbelievably fast! They will do everything to make your stay the best and they succeeded royally. The rooms are small but more than adequate and efficient- especially with the good sized refrigerator. The pool is wonderful as is the lush and beautiful landscaping. The pool is exquisitely refreshing and also spotless. There is a water dispenser and a microwave in reception which was a godsend. I highly recommend this little gem in town but off the beaten track. 5 stars and ???????? thumbs up

Nice little hotel with EXCELLENT service. The owner is easy to get in touch with if any issues. Close to the centre of town and right on the edge of the forrest so you will hear plenty of wildlife. A bit low water pressure in the shower but keeping the recent drought in mind, thats not a big deal. Parkingspace for bikes and scooters inside the facility.
