Staying at this hotel was such a memorable experience. The building is old and full of character with great views over Berat. It was clean with very comfortable beds. A delicious breakfast served on the terrace and the evening meals were traditional tasty homemade Albanian cuisine washed down with local wine. The prices were very reasonable. However the warmth of the family running the hotel was the most exceptional part of our visit. We stayed at Hotel Klea for three nights and by the time we left we felt very much at home and were sad to leave. Thank you to the family for your kind hospitality and for making us feel so welcome.

Oh what a wonderful, beautiful hotel in stunning surroundings. This little gem was the place I'd looked forward to the most on my tour of Southern Albania and it didn't disappoint! It was outstanding! Quaint, lovely rustic rooms with sweet wooden window shutters. The windows bring in a fresh, welcome breeze. I honestly fell in love with this hotel! The bathroom was sweet! Small, but adequate and lovely fittings. The bedroom was plenty big enough to sleep in! I loved it! This is history! Beautiful.?The bedroom ceiling was gorgeous. I was so comfortable that I wanted to stay awake to enjoy it, but it was so relaxing, I fell asleep! Do NOT make the mistake of driving all the way up to the hotel! There is a car park!!! I made that mistake and the hire car fell out with me. The very kind man at Klea Hotel came to the rescue. Literally! Meals were outstanding, both dinner and breakfast. The house red wine was so good, I wished I'd ordered a litre! It was nice to NOT have a TV. Views from the windows were so beautiful.? I've never been so sad to leave a hotel. I want to go back to the beauty, welcoming family and friendliness. Very highly recommended! Oh wait, let me tell you about the lovely man from Hotel Klea. When I got into trouble with my car, he jumped in and drove it to safety. He absolutely refused a tip! He speaks of pride and love for his family. His mum is a real gem and her cooking is brilliant!

L'hotel Klea si trova all'interno delle mura della fortezza di Berat, sulla sommità della collina. E' una piccola guesthouse munita di ogni comfort. Le stanze hanno una bella vista sulle montagne e c'è un ottimo wifi. Non c'è la televisione in camera, il che costituisce un aspetto positivo (e poi se non si conosce l'albanese la telvisione è comunque inutile). Lo staff è molto gentile e servizievole. La prima colazione è eccezionalmente ricca, sia dolce che salata; tutto è squisito ed abbondante. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è eccezionale. Purtroppo abbiamo soggiornato soltanto una notte, ma con questa sistemazione sarebbe stato gradevole un soggiorno più lungo a Berat.

The first thing to say is that the castle contains a small town, with hotels, restaurants, monuments and sights. It’s gorgeous to explore day and evening so it is a great choice to stay up here. It is steep, with cobbled streets so not suitable for those with mobility issues. This hotel was excellent. We loved the traditional design inside and out and the delicious and varied breakfast. The staff really made it for us though. So helpful and kind. We loved it, thank you.

Spent a couple of nights here, fantastic location, very friendly and helpful host and lovely local food. Staying within that castle was truly memorable and we had lovely sunsets. The terrace is a great place to spend the evening Don’t hesitate to stay here

Trato excelente, personal muy agradable y servicial. Muy atentos, en el restaurante precios asequibles y buena calidad. A pesar de ir sin reserva pudimos comer platos típicos de Albania. Recomiendo 100% ir allí a comer, estoy muy satisfecha. Pudimos pagar con euros

Eccellente mini Hotel con impareggiabile cibo a cena con prodotti tradizionali cucinati alla perfezione e, per finire, dolce con un nome simile al nostro...cassata ovvero in semifreddo con panna e mandorle Personale gentilissimo e disponibile prezzi super modici...Consiglio ad occhi chiusi.

Un accueil chaleureux et d’une grande gentillesse. L’h?tel a un emplacement idéal au c?ur de la citadelle de Berat. Les chambres sont propres et confortables Le petit déjeuner compris est une vrai valeur ajoutée: celui est copieux et de très bon go?t Sans hésiter nous reprendrons cette h?tel si nous repassons à Berat

Qu'est ce qui me pla?t le plus ici ? Le lieu, une ancienne demeure de la citadelle très bien rénovée ? Les tables pour les repas entourées de roses ? La qualité du petit déjeuner ? L'accueil attentionné de la famille qui tient le lieu, notamment du fils charmant ? La cuisine de la mère de famille ? Je ne sais pas dire ! Sinon que c'est vraiment un lieu magique !

Magnifique, exceptionnel. Un h?tel plein de charme. Une chambre impeccable. La literie parfaite. Tout est propre. Nickel. Le d?ner et petit déjeuner excellents. De bons produits. Et le plus important dans cette ambiance chaleureuse la gentillesse, un personnel sympathique. Un souvenir inoubliable, merci a vous tous pour ce doux moment. L h?tel à une situation exceptionnel. Je recommande fortement. ?
