We had a 10 night, room only stay at Hotel Le Roy and would concur with the many positives in other reviews - location, right on a beautiful beach with free beach towels and sunbeds for guests. The hotel is clean and tidy with good housekeeping and all the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Deone on reception and Romero in the bar. Negative points, we stayed on the 3rd floor (no lift, but not an issue for us), the entrance to rooms 303 to 309 are on a balcony overlooking an open area with a couple of local bars. The room doors are not well fitted and on Sunday and Wednesday nights the noise from karaoke sessions went on past 1am, even earplugs did not help! Obviously outside of the hotel's control and they were unable to move us due to being fully booked. The decor in the room was quite dated but we did have a fridge which was welcome. Some more seating in communal areas would have been helpful. A 3 star hotel at a reasonable price for that area.

We stayed in a beachfront room at this lovely hotel, situated on Dover Beach at the top of St Lawrence Gap, so well situated for local bars and restaurants. There are plenty of sun loungers and parasols on the beach and we never had an issue getting a sun lounger. There is a lovely deck and beach bar on the hotel overlooking the beach, we spent many happy times here enjoying the view and the happy hour. Our beachfront room was well equipped and the toiletries supplied by the hotel were lovely. We had a couple of issues with towels not being left after housekeeping but this was quickly resolved by speaking with the very helpful team. We attempted to dine in the hotel on our first night for convenience after a long day of travelling. After an hour of waiting we chased up our order as the team hadn’t noticed we hadn’t had any food served, we were told the chef had forgotten to do our order and it was being sorted, still nothing so we chased again, promised it was in its way….. then after a wait of 1 hour 45 mins we were told that they had run out of the food we had ordered. At this point we left, I did give some feedback to reception who promised to follow up with us when the manager was back, no one ever did, which was a shame but it didn’t spoil our stay. We did dine in the restaurant again and the food was good, but the service needs improvement as the team were disorganised. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be visiting again. We have stayed at many resorts on the island and this is one of our favourites.

Hotel Le Roy is on Dover beach. The rooms are excellent and the air conditioning is the quietest I have experienced. The rooms were spacious and the bed was so comfortable my partner and I had no problems with bad backs. The nespresso coffee machine was a bonus. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the rum punch in happy hour kicks a punch! As for the staff we loved them everyone was so friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Lovely small hotel, right on the beach. Great views of the well kept gardens and sea. Not ideal for anyone with mobility issues as no lift. However the receptionist did not hesitate in carrying my suitcase up the stairs. Happy hours in the bar are good and the singer on Saturday night was excellent. Only had breakfast in the restaurant, which was excellent but a bit overpriced. Lots of places to eat nearby. St Lawrence Gap a short walk away and from there you can get a ZR local minibus to Bridgetown or Oistins or even further for just BB$3.50. Cons: nespresso machine in room but no kettle to make tea or fridge. Pool is only 3’ deep

Hotel was nice. Unfortunately not safe for belongings as had money stollen from the safe
