We spent two nights at Hotel Mount Castle in Hatton with our extended family and had a truly comfortable experience. Conveniently located just a short walk (under 10 minutes) from Hatton Railway Station and the town centre, it made trips out very easy. Our group was treated incredibly well—they allocated an entire wing of the hotel to our family, which felt both cosy and private. The rooms were tidy, quiet, and well-furnished, with all essential amenities thoughtfully provided. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, fresh, varied, and deliciously prepared. Most memorable, though, was the staff; they consistently went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

This has been a surprise, to say it simple. Being in the affordable category one would assume the service to be bit less when compared to the higher end, but to our surprise the facility has been a revelation. Excellent service with the food on offer cut above the rest . Cleanliness is an A+ with no hesitation. Great to see Hatton having at least one address that stands for value for money in letter and spirit. Only issue the access road up the incline could be a bit of a challenge for a car due to unpaved condition in some of the patches .

Not recommended . Filthy bed sheets and we requested all the bedsheets changed. Smelly, leaking toilets and dirty kitchen . Access road was terrible. Two people helped us. Kitchen was dirty.Ranjith was good.
