Petit h?tel, plut?t bien placé, très propre avec un coin de plage privée, des transats numérotés correspondant au numéro de notre chambre. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment très complet et le restaurant de l'h?tel très bon. Il y a cependant des c?tés négatifs, il n'y a pas d'ascenseur dans l'h?tel. Il n'est absolument pas adapté aux touts petits bébés. Nous sommes arrivés avec deux bébés (1 an et 2 ans) nous avions pourtant précisé les ages de nos enfants.. ils n'avaient pas de lit parapluie à disposition donc nous avons d? faire avec les moyens du bord, heureusement nous avions pris la suite. La mer est juste en face, mais elle n'est pas très propre.

A wonderful, small, 1-year old boutique hotel located right on the beach, adjacent to a walking/cycling track and amidst multiple eating out options, it impressed us! That said, it's a blink& miss location if you don't know the area, and the small building with the name spelt upside down doesn't help any! Wish the hotel automatically sent out a location pin or clear directions with the booking confirmation! The reception staff Clara was the sweetest we met on the entire trip, forever smiling and willing to help. The rooms were well appointed and the balcony of all those at the back overlooked the beach. The bathroom was spacious and nice- a good change after a few we have encountered on this trip. The beach itself was muddy towards the shore, as the bottom was not grainy/white sand. But the gradient was so low, that one could walk a hundred meters and still be in chest deep water! There is a tiny but nice outdoor exercise park too for public use, right behind the hotel! The breakfast was a set menu but a good combination of eggs/sausage/salads/bread with local dishes. Two things that ******, clearly! 1. The name on the front side of the building is spelt YLAS top-down! Maybe the owner is an anagram fan but folks who come here after a long trip are not really at Durres to solve crossword puzzles, especially when the entry lane is tiny and with no other markers on the crowded main road for the turn. 2. There is no lift, which is alright. But the super narrow and twisting stairs are a disaster in the waiting, if you are carrying a suitcase. See the photo and you will know what I mean!
