Good location and free parking. Close to the famous Kataragama Devalaya. They even arranged a offering(puja watti) for a reasonable rate and someone will bring to the doorstep of the Devalaya, no need to carry all the way. Need some renovation/maintenance for some rooms. We took three rooms, one had a kettle, not in others. Our wash- room sink water is very low, others good. Good A/C, good hot water, enough TV channels. May need good pillows, new bed-sheets. We asked morning tea at 6.30 and did not get. I had to ask and got at 7.15. Maybe a miss-communication. They offered a good rate for us. Staff makes this place clean all the time.

It was extremely difficult to check out. They do not have the facilities for customers to use a credit card. The girl at the front desk is nice but she is over worked; she cooks, cleans, wait tables and acts as thr receptionist too. The room was not ready at 3:30. The owner does not have much understanding about working with Expedia.com. He spoke to me rudely on phone and I do not think he and his staff are properly trained in hotel buisness. It was a mess at the checkout time and they insisted that I pay cash although I had booked the place using my credit card.
