Had a very comfortable stay with a homely atmosphere. Extremely good and tasty food. Manager cyril’s hospitality towards guests is excellent. Our gratitude to the owner Mr. Harshanath Gunasekera for his warm gesture.

Very good and friendly staff!! Siril, the. Manager and his cook are perfekt hosts. Food was extraordinary good!! We spent a great time with our sons in Anuradhapura, also went to Willbattu national park together with the owner, which was great! They cared a lot and wanted to make our stay a good time!

Meilleur h?tel de la région, de la chambre en passant par le personnel jusqu’au repas, tout était parfait. L’h?tel propose beaucoup d’activités différentes comme les sorties en bateau sur le lac, les visites en vélos, les randonnées ou encore des safaris. Nous avons opté pour un safari d’une journée à Wilpattu et du jour au lendemain l’organisation entière du safari était prête. Extraordinaire, une organisation professionnelle et chaleureuse (Jeep, repas, guide…) et un safari offrant une expérience incroyablement enrichissante, avec une diversité impressionnante de faune et de paysages naturels à couper le souffle. Recommandé à tous ceux qui cherchent une aventure authentique au c?ur de la nature sauvage du Sri Lanka. Ma famille et moi avons passé 3 nuits dans cet h?tel et espérons revenir bient?t. Merci

We didn't stay here, but we had travelled up to Anuradhapura for the day and stopped in for lunch after seeing other positive online reviews. We had an absolutely delicious vegetarian curry lunch here. I am celiac and can not eat gluten, which is a real hassle when traveling, however the guest house were able to accomodate and let me know which dishes I could not eat (basically just the pappadams were off limits to me, however my husband enjoyed them!). Husband had a cold Lion beer and we really enjoyed our lunch and the cooling fan - respite out of the heat. Thanks again for your lunch hospitality. Highly recommend. It's tricky to find, you can only see the sign from one side but persevere and it will pay off. Happy Eating!

Heerlijke tijd gehad in Anuradhapura. Ik verbleef in de slaapzaal wisselend met andere gasten en genoeg aanspraak voor soloreizigers. Het eten was echt fantastisch en de manager stond altijd voor je klaar om alles voor je te regelen van een toer naar Mihintale of een fiets om Anuradhapura te verkennen. Zeker een aanrader!

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. They helped us with everything we needed. And every night we had a great dinner. The chef made us a typical Sri Lankan breakfast which was also very lovely. And we got an delicious banana and icecream dessert. The room was a bit dated but good enough for us.

Hotel Shalini was absolutely fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that I had the most incredible stay in Anuradhapura. The room was clean, strong air conditioning, and hot shower. I rented a bicycle and it was in good condition. The hotel also organized a safari for me to Wilpattu which was one of the highlights of my trip. The dinner meal was different each night of my stay, but equally incredible each night. If I could live at this hotel, I would!
