We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during our Buddhist pilgrimage trip of India. Our rooms were spacious and relatively clean. The bathroom was okay, not the best that we have seen on our travels around the world. The furniture and fittings of the room and bathroom are rather old. Our air-conditioning worked very well and so did our ceiling fan. Our rooms have functioning digital safes for our personal belongings. The staff were helpful, at our request, they even helped us to bring our wet laundry(which we washed ourselves in our bathroom) to hang out on their rooftop terrace to dry under the scorching sun. Our pilgrimage package included breakfast and dinner at this hotel for the duration of our stay in Bodhgaya. The food that we received for all those included meals was very good and plentiful. On our first night here, we missed the dinner because we attended prayers at the MahaBoddhi temple from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. The hotel management was kind enough to give us a complimentary replacement meal in the form of lunch on our 2nd day here. They even allowed us to order non-veg dishes(Butter chicken and mutton Rogan Josh) for our lunch, which is more expensive than all the vegetarian options on the menu! The BEST ASPECT of this hotel is its LOCATION! It is located off the noisy and busy main road, yet it is within walking distance to the MahaBoddhi Temple, which is undoubtedly the main attraction of Bodhgaya and the main focus of every Buddhist pilgrim who visits Bodhgaya. If you do not feel like walking ***** the extremely busy and dusty main road to the MahaBoddhi Temple from the hotel, you just have to walk out of the hotel and there will be tuk-tuk's waiting to take you to the temple for a small fee(INR30 to 50 each way). IMPORTANT TIP FOR 1st TIME VISITORS TO BODHGAYA: All visitors to the MahaBoddhi Temple are NOT ALLOWED to bring CELLPHONES into the compound of the temple. If you have your cellphone on you, you will be required to deposit your cellphone at a booth outside the temple. This temple receives THOUSANDS of visitors every day, most visitors will be depositing their cellphones at the booth, therefore, your cellphone could go missing in the ENORMOUS PILE OF cellphones! Please leave your cellphone in your hotel room's digital safe if you are planning to visit the MahaBoddhi temple!

Good location, restaurant and bedding. All the rest is terrible. Toilet not functioning, room not cleaned in 5 days (no fresh towels, glasses or cups either). Dirty bathtub and filthy shower soap holder. Bathtub drain blocked. Old cups and bowls with remaining food left by the clients on the floor of our corridor, not removed since days. Laundry was lost. Air dryer was out of order. Réception staff do their best to help, unsuccessfully. Not speaking about the washroom in the lobby and it single disposable soap dispenser... filthy. Toilets brown...

Check in - 26/1 and Check out - 29/1 Pros - 1) Awesome location . Maha bodhi temple and other major attractions are within walking distance. 2) Rooms are spacious and well maintained. 3) Rooms have all required amenities like electric kettle, AC, Geyser etc. 4) Manager Mr.Ashwini is a nice person and looks after guests well. 5) Room tariffs are reasonable. 6) Room service is quite good. Cons - 1) Break fast is slightly confusing. They sometimes have buffet but they mainly suggest Ala-Carte. They set up buffet mainly when big parties are there. 2) The restaurant service people are more inclined serving foreign guests as they get tips.This practice should be stopped and not a good one. The restaurant even forgot to prepare one of my pre ordered item for dinner also.The staff should pay equal attention to Indian guests also. The matter was reported to Mr. Ashwini and he promised to rectify this. 3) Food prices are quite high but the quantity and quality is good.

Our best hotel experience in India ! A very nice and pleasant staff, and a delicious restaurant ! The bed was very confortable and the room perfectly cleaned. They help us to organise and book everything for our next days in India.

Cuisine, multi dimensional, is vely very tasty n neat n presentable. Service is also good. V recommend to one and all to stay n enjoy. Also if R not u are staying do relish their mouth watering delicacies.

A small hotel conveniently located near the Mahabodhi temple. Price is reasonable. The room is simple and clean. Food in the hotel is not fancy but quite nice. For pilgrim, whose intention is to spend a lots of time meditating at the sacred tree/temple, it is one of the top choice for hotel.

I stayed here in November 2022. Very nice, clean hotel near the main temple. I lost my phone while traveling and when I asked Mr. Ashwini Kumar Verma if I could use the hotel’s to call someone in Delhi he pulled out his own phone and dialed the call immediately. After, he booked me a room for the second night at the same rate, ordered my taxi for 3 AM, and gave me a voucher for a free dinner. Could not be happier with the service. Many thanks again!
