Wonderful place to stay. Each cabin nestled in the bush really gave you the feeling that you were getting away from it all. I can't comment on the cost because it was part of a hiking package. I stayed for three nights. There aren't any cooking amenities in the room, communal kitchen which was fine as there was a large group of us. Met the owner briefly and he was very pleasant and friendly. It would have been nice to have some air con in the room but in no way detracted from what was a lovely stay. The quality of the cabin was excellent and the bed was comfy, so quiet at night which was wonderful. Coromandel town is circa 3 k's away.

This is a very romantic ?? lil slice of heaven! Not far from the township but far enough out to feel like you are in a remote hideaway! Very beautiful serene scenery! Cottage is clean, tidy and very welcoming. We stayed two nights and even though the weather was not the best, it was a gawjus lil escape from reality! Looking forward to our next stay there. ??

An unusual and quirky place to stay. We stayed in The Gatehouse, one of six individual wooden chalets. We had a seating area, luxury shower room and comfortable twin beds. Felt so private and secluded in wooded surroundings. Only tea and coffee facilities in the rooms (inc fridge) but there is a communal kitchen with everything you need. Hugh was very amenable when our bed was made up as king instead of thetwins requested. Best suited to couples - would be lovely for a private family occasion.

An unusual, rustic but charming place, with a lovely BBQ area under the jungly foliage. We stayed in the Potter's She'd, which is a bit more contemporary than the other cabins. Hugh is a great host who is full of local knowledge. Follow his recommendations!

We had a wonderful two night stay at Hush. We stayed in the Potters Studio which overlooks a wonderful garden. The garden is a haven for birds. You can use the cooking facilities in the nearby kitchen and then sit outside surrounded by lush vegetation. Hugh the owner is very helpful. Hush is across the road from the Driving Creek Railway, a must visit.
