Great hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. The pool was clean and very refreshing after a muggy day in the jungle. Breakfast was delicious especially cardamom pancakes.

Excellent small hotel really close to the entrance to Lion Rock, maybe 10 minutes walk to the road entrance for the Rock. Nice spacious rooms with air conditioning with comfortable beds and a decent bathroom Breakfast is excellent and is freshly made when you want it. Nice pool to cool off in. The guys who work here are lovely - very friendly and super helpful with advice. They organised an excellent safari for us to Kaudula NP and also a car to Kandy. Well worth staying here.

This place is perfect to stay in when visiting the area. Pool is lovely, the rooms are luxurious, the staff are su friendly and helpful and the breakfast sets you up for the day. Nakala was beyond any expectations in helping us. Thank you so much.

Nous avons passé deux nuits dans ce logement. Il y a la piscine pour se détendre, les logements sont spacieux avec la climatisation. Et les personnes de l'établissment sont très sympas.

Beautiful boutique hotel set away from the busy road. Very peaceful and tranquil, the team that work there are very welcoming, super friendly and happy to help organise day trips etc. The room was perfect for out family of 4. 2 large double beds and a large bathroom - AC was super cold. The gardens and pool area are secluded and tranquil. Sad to be leaving

What fantastic 4 nights i had at Il Frangipane. The place is beautiful, relaxing (lovely swimming pool) and so intiamte (limited amount of rooms) - making it a place you will not want to leave. Warm thanks to the staff, so dedicated to making your stay the best possible. And last, the location, is fantastic : allows you to reach Sigiria rock, Dambulla and Anuradhapura easily!

We had a great stay here. The service was great and our room was really spacious, clean and just lovely overall. Breakfast was yummy and generous. The hotel is located near some really good restaurants and it's a short walk (16 minutes) or a shorter tuk tuk ride from sigiriya rock. The pool was terrific. Highly recommend this hotel.

L'accueil et le service n'est pas hostile mais pas franchement amical non plus : pas d'implication. La chambre est spacieuse mais clim difficile à régler et pas de ventilo. Nous aurons passé 3 nuits: personne n'est passé faire un peu de ménage. Il a fallu demander pour avoir de l'eau chaude. Le petit déjeuner est loin d'être délicieux comme de nombreux commentaires l'indiquent. La piscine est jolie mais l'eau est trouble (on distingue bien mal le fond). à noter pas de repas hormis le breakfast. La région est magnifique par contre. Si nous avions à revenir un jour dans le secteur ce n'est pas ici que nous réserverions à nouveau.

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi cet h?tel est aussi bien noté, notre chambre est spacieuse mais sommaire elle se compose de 2 lits qui grince quand on se tourne, et d’une une salle de bain,oui il a fallu attendre l’intervention d’un membre du personnel pour avoir de l’eau chaude. En trois jours, le ménage n’a jamais été fait. Le personnel n’est pas hostile mais pas très accueillant comparé au reste du Sri Lanka. le petit déjeuner est loin d’être délicieux comme le stipule les autres avis et le déjeuner et d?ner ne sont pas compris , Il faut donc aller manger dans les restaurants alentours. Quant à la piscine l’eau est trouble et on arrive pas à distinguer le fond.

We stayed 2 nights in a triple room. This place is so relaxing with all the plants. The staff here are so friendly and happy to help you make plans, arrange drivers and chat. Breakfast is incredible and varies daily. Rooms are spacious and have everything we need including a fridge. The gardens make this place so special and we enjoyed watching the little squirrels and occasional monkey playing in the trees and all the birds. Great place to stay that has a personality. Loved it.
