What can we say about our stay at Il Maggese? Everything at this Agriturismo is a product of the love that Flavia and Roberto have poured into their family property. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with not only the necessities but also beautiful antiques and vintage objects which really add to the ambience. Our apartment, Diana, was full of charm . The property is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees, and the abundant produce is all there for you to taste at breakfast and also at dinner if you choose to eat at the property. Flavia and her staff cook everything with heart and soul and most of the food is 0km, fresh from farm to table…you can taste it too! The breakfast tomatoes are the best I have ever eaten and I will be dreaming about them for a long time. There is ample space in the large garden and pool to be able to relax and read without feeling like you are encroaching on the personal space of others-and if you crave peace and quiet then this is the place for you. Flavia was so helpful when we needed to book restaurants both in Cortona and further afield, and she was always available if anything was required. We were sad to leave and hope to return again. When you stay with Flavia at Il Maggese you will be perfectly positioned in the beautiful Cortona countryside…just book it!

Ein unglaubliche sch?nes Anwesen. Die Parkanlage ist sehr gepflegt und um den Pool hat es genügend B?ume die natürlichen Schatten spenden. Die Inhaberin ist eine sehr sympathische und liebenswerte Dame. Das Frühstück wurde nur für uns hergerichtet und war sehr gut. Das Appartement war sch?n gross und sehr sauber. Vielen Dank für den sch?nen Aufenthalt.

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve à Il Maggese. Un lieu chargé d'histoire et que subliment les merveilleux paysages de Toscane. La gentillesse et la disponibilité de Flavia, la propriétaire, vous fait vous sentir comme en famille. Très grande qualité des infrastructures, il faut absolument gouter la cuisine toscane que vous pouvez déguster sur place et ne pas hésiter à profiter des petits-déjeuners très généreux et gouteux. En partant, n'oubliez pas de ramener du vin ou de l'huile d'olive, voir des pates produits directement sur place, un vrai trésor de retour chez soi.

A volte si pensa a qualcosa che poi pensa solo essere "utopia". Poi ti trovi in un luogo di cui non riesci a trovare un difetto. Le strutture di questo agriturismo, camere e luoghi condivisi, sono davvero belle e funzionali senza che il loro recupero abbia fatto perdere il senso della loro storia bisecolare. L'accoglienza, la gentilezza e la disponibilità di Flavia, pronta a soddisfare curiosità ed esigenze, sono a dir poco encomiabili. Colazione e cene, con l'utilizzo dei prodotti della loro terra, cucinati con maestria ed originalità da Roberto, anche con l'aiuto della Roberta, rendono difficile ogni resistenza, al dolce o al salato, a qualunque titolo. Se poi ci metti una davvero bella compagnia, ecco che l'eccellenza è l'unico giudizio attribuibile! Confidando di rivedersi ancora, grazie Flavia!

Un agriturismo nella bella Toscana, dal sapore antico , accogliente e familiare. Ho passato nella Sala Universale, un Capodanno con amici senza Tv, ma pieno di calore e allegria, grazie a buon cibo , buon vino, olio sopraffino ( produzione locale ) e buona compagnia di Flavia e Roberto, i gestori di questo splendido posto . Sono sicura che in estate offra anche maggiori opportunità di godere delle splendide campagne e boschi intorno. La vicina Cortona , poi è una piccola chicca con possibilità di fare un percorso attraverso il tempo degli etruschi, del medioevo e del rinascimento, da non perdere sicuramente è l’eremo francescano delle Celle , un posto pieno di misticismo e pace. Gli alloggi sono di varie tipologie, ma pulitissimi e forniti di ogni comfort. Un fine settimana, un piccolo viaggio in questo luogo rigenerante lo consiglio vivamente
