We stayed here for three nights, location perfect for bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Beautiful room with everything you need and the minibar is stocked with water and soft drinks each day and breakfast room has a lovely selection each morning 08.00-09.30. Elina was there when we arrived and assured us that anything we needed was just a phone call away. Just make sure you keep her up to date with your expected arrival time so she can be there for you. Would recommend the La Scagna and Casa Ernesto for some traditional Bergamo cuisine and both within 3 minutes walk. Meals for two which included starters and wine were no more than €70 each night. The Frigidarium just again a few minutes walk has the best ice especially Bergamo’s own stracciatella. Wood bar was great for a night cap, margaritas ??

Muy buena ubicación para moverte con facilidad por la ciudad y en una plaza con todos los servicios. La habitación espaciosa y buen desayuno.

Nos alojamos 5 noches en este hotel, bueno son habitaciones independientes, no tiene los servicios de un hotel. En recepción no hay personas para atenderte. Hemos tenido varias incidencias, el primer día el aire acondicionado se encendió a las 0:00h y no se podía apagar haciendo un ruido terrible. Tuvimos que llamar a la persona de contacto, que vino a apagarlo. Al día siguiente no nos habían limpiado la habitación, tuvimos que contactar de nuevo con la persona de contacto y nos dijo dnd podríamos coger toallas, papel higiénico... Otro día llegamos al hotel y habían cambiado el bombín de una de las puertas y no podíamos abrir. Todo se solucionó pero es molesto estar todos los días comunicando incidencias. Además, tampoco nos compensaron por todas las molestias y las personas q atendían muy secas. La ubicación es estupenda y está limpio, sin más.

Ottima stanza. Personale gentile e accogliente, ti aiutano con il pass per la zona Ztl, ottime informazioni turistiche. Stanza centralissima colazione buona. Stanza molto particolare, stile classico con letto a baldacchino. Macchinetta per il caffè e frigobar incluso.Consigliato

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful apartment. The hotel/B&B has 4 apartments. Ours had two rooms & bathroom. Spotlessly clean, warm & comfortable. Bergamo is a beautiful place and staying here made it even better! The instructions from the reception(Maria) for getting there from airport was great. It’s in a lovely area, lovely square with plenty of restaurants nearby. Maria was kind and informative about places to eat. Take the funicular up to Cita Alta & walk through to the other funicular up to the fort. Definitely recommend this place

One of the most amazing hotel experiences ever. Rooms are nicely decorated, in a very italian style yet not kitsch. Top notch clean. Whirpool in a room is a great amenity to have. Nice selection for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I stayed here for one night in February and had a generally good experience. First of all, the location is great! Right in centre and walking distance from station, buses, shops, restaurants etc. The room was very spacious, with a big comfable bed and a luxurious bathroom. A very nice and relaxing room to be in. We also appreciated the coffee and tea facilities in the room as well as the minibar with some water and sodas, which were included. Breakfast was tasty, but we found it a bit minimal for the price that you're paying. Since it's a small buffet that you share with other guests, I could imagine it not being enough if some other guests took a little bit more than average, for example. However the quality of the food was nice and we enjoyed it. The only small negative point we have, was the way we were received. We got some "passive aggressive" vibes from one of the hostesses which we did not really understand. We were a little taken aback by it, especially after travelling for half a day and waiting outside in the cold for 15 minutes for someone to open the door and let us in. She interrupted our questions with a firm "I'm telling you about this already." Mind you, we are Dutch/German ourselves and very used to being direct when communicating, but this was a bit too much. One more note that could be important to you: we were allowed to leave our bags in the building on our leaving day while we explored Bergamo for a few more hours. Although we were happy to have this option, we were a bit surprised that the doors to the apartment, the front door as well as the metal gate by the road were all left open for the whole duration of our stay. Meaning anyone could walk in. Just something to consider if you want to leave your belongings there and the reason I didn't give 5 stars.

We booked this hotel for our last night of a 14 night stay in Italy. It was a little tricky to find as it is not very well sign posted. I would reccomnend looking for the property numbers on the exterior wall of the street and it is clearly marked number 16, it's right next door to the lovely friendly bar Wood. We were met on arrival by the lovely Alina who welcomed us at checkin and gave us all the required information for a happy stay. We were delighted with the fantastic room that was elegant, comfortable, safe and secure. The bathroom was really nice and well presented. We were served breakfast in the nice dining room which consisted of a lovely range of fresh tasty produce and even scrambled eggs made freshly for us. It was a 15 to 20 minute walk from the train / bus station along wide busy roads that appeared safe and well illuminated. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back. Situato nel pieno centro di Bergamo, città bassa, Ilsanleonardo è un B&B delizioso con 4 camere che non lascia indifferenti. La camera dove abbiamo soggiornato era di grandi dimensioni, con un letto a baldacchino e tutti i comfort che un hotel di lusso può offrire: frigobar con bibite comprese nel prezzo della camera, caffè e the a disposizione insieme ad una scelta di biscottini, pulizia impeccabile, bagno con doccia, pantofole e prodotti per l'igiene. L'edificio attualmente è in fase di restauro facciata, manca quindi dell'affaccio sulla deliziosa piazza che, ahimè, la notte è piuttosto rumorosa a causa di qualche maleducato che schiamazza sotto le finestre, se si ha il sonno leggero consiglio di procurarsi dei tappi per le orecchie. Un unico suggerimento: non essendoci armadiature, aggiungerei qualche stampella all'attaccapanni e qualche punto d'appoggio per i vestiti. La colazione è servita in una saletta dove si trova la macchina per caffè/cappuccino, brioches, piatti dolci e salati, c'è sempre una persona disponibile a cucinare qualcosa su richiesta (uova, bacon, crepes...), tutto sommato una buona proposta. Consigliato vivamente, complimenti.
