We had a lovely stay at this hotel from start to finish. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel at ease the moment we arrived. Our room was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views overlooking Eyre Square. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. Nothing was ever a problem for the staff — they were so accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Had the pleasure of staying in the Imperial for 1 night. I have used this hotel before and always have found it great value. If anything, the hotel has improved. Beautiful friendly staff and the room was spotlessly clean and warm. Breakfast was excellent. Congratulations to the manager and staff for their excellent standards. Will definitely be back. Thank you Imperial.

Stayed for night go xmss shopping and xmas market hotel great place to stay room had double and 2 single beds very big room even though right out side amusements hotel so quite couldn't hear any noise

Hotel was located right smack in the middle of the city center. Room was fine a bit dark as only a small window. Bathroom was spotless and upgraded breakfast which we paid €15 pp wasn’t worth the money no fresh rolls or breads even though they advertised it as homemade it was clearly shop bought sliced pan. While we were eating staff were rolling out large containers of laundry that I felt wasn’t the right time as we were trying to eat our breakfast the hot counter food had been sitting there a while bacon was hard. Fried eggs were hard !!!! Midnight last night as our room was to the back of hotel I was awoken by the large container of empty bottles been emptied again disturbing the peace

Had a great time with my wife and in-laws at the Imperial. Clean comfortable rooms and guest areas, fantastic location, extremely friendly and helpful staff and superb food. The breakfast each morning was beautiful. Couldn't ask for anything else. Well done team Imperial Hotel Galway.

Stayed one night. Reception staff very friendly, efficient and accommodating with luggage and storage etc. Hotel very clean, sweet smelling and presentable. I was rather suprised and a little impressed. Luggage being brought to your room for you was unexpected but helpful. Room very quite clean, spacious , comfortable and up to date. I personally love a spacious room. A room with a view of Eyre Square would've been lovely but no big deal. Bath towels nice and big and of good quality. Being able to control room temp was a cool feature. Some biscuits in the room with the tea & coffee would've been good as well as some extra toiletries rather than the bare essentials that were provided. Slept well that night and was cosy in the room. Bar staff in the evening not particularly friendly especially one guy. Almost felt like our presence in the bar was an inconvenience for them/him. Self service breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. Some staff members at breakfast were more helpful than others. Some were just standing around, chatting with one another and laughing. Check out was straightforward. Overall a pleasant stay. Slightly pricey for what you get but then again you are paying for the central location. After weighing everything up, I would definitely consider staying again and sure would recommend.

Rooms are nice enough once you find your way through the maze of hallways. The noise level could be an issue if you are a light sleeper. However, this hotel is so very convenient, located in the heart of the city, adjacent to Eyre Square. Shops, the river, the pubs, the cafes and restaurants are all within easy walking distance.

Posizione perfetta, raggiungibile a piedi dalla stazione dei treni e dei bus, a due passi dal centro. Personale disponibile e gentile, abbiamo trovato anche due gentilissime receptionist italiane a cui abbiamo chiesto consigli. Non abbiamo provato la cucina ma l'odore che si sentiva vicino al ristorante era veramente interessante. Camera con vista su eyre square, stupenda..., mobili un po datati , potrebbe essere migliorata la pulizia della camera. Consigliatissimo Galway meravigliosa, città sicura e allegra, ci siamo pentiti di aver trascorso lì solo 3 giorni, avremmo dovuto utilizzarla come base per tutta la vacanza in irlanda ed evitare Dublino ( sporca e pericolosa).

I recently stayed in the Imperial Hotel and I am glad to say that it was excellent as always. I have stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions and it just gets better and better. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious overlooking Eyre Square. We enjoyed a very tasty breakfast and the staff were excellent as always. The Imperial Hotel is my favourite hotel in Galway and I cant wait to return again!
