Spent 3 nights at this fabulous homestay hotel in the holy temple town of Srirangam with my mother recently. Indian Residency is the best hotel to stay in Srirangam especially for those planning to visit the nearby Sri Ranganathaswamy temple or the Jambukeshwarar temple as it offers a good peaceful surrounding with lots of trees and peacocks that roam around freely, making it an ideal choice to stay when visiting the many holy temples situated nearby. The exterior and interior of this hotel bears traditional designs and lives up to its name, Indian Residency. Lovely authentic South Indian breakfast is served daily at the third floor. The owner Ms Padmini and family live opposite the hotel and welcomed us warmly during our stay. They also shared advise on where my mother could do certain specific shopping which was useful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with hot water facilities for bathing. If you are looking for an authentic traditional homestay experience in Srirangam or Trichy, then this is the place to stay.

My family ***** my friend's family had been on a trip to Srirangam an Thanjavur. We had the pleasure of staying at this place and it truly felt like home away from home. This charming, family-run property is very beautiful and well-maintained with peaceful atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing after exploring the temples and vibrant culture of Srirangam, The hospitality was expectational - the hosts and the staff we re kind, polite and always ready to help. The breakfast is something not to be missed. It's home-made and served with lost of patience and happiness. If you are visiting Srirangam and looking for a stay that combines comfort, cleanliness and heartfelt hospitality then just book at Indian Residency. A wonderful experience.

We are senior citizens, stayed in Indian residency on 6th & 7th july 2025. Excellent, convenient snd clean room, very clean washroom, with toiletries., water bottles, electric kettle for tea coffee, clean towels, clean beds. We are the only guests for today. Even for only one guests, they provided hot breakfast. The staff are very polite and helpful. Ambience is very pleasant. Though about 1.3kms from temple, they arrange conveyance if needed. We are 200% satisfied with Indian Residency.

Very good Resident apartments. Well maintained. Clean. Bathroom is well maintained Room is very spacious. Temples are nearby. You will get a homely atmosphere. Housekeeping is good. Good hospitality Enjoyed the stay. Wishing them all the best

Excellent rooms ..washrooms are so clean .. very well maintained. No confusions just go for it. Value for money. Staff is so cooperative. We reached at 12 midnight and the person was waiting for us. Very comfortable beds and blankets were provided.

We visited temples in Kumbakonam and Srirangam, with our wedding anniversary falling on Saturday, the 18th. Before booking, I called Indian Residency to check the distance to Srirangam temple. The staff gave an honest review and suggested visiting on Friday, but I explained that Saturday was special for us. The owner remembered this and, despite their busy schedule, surprised us with a cake to celebrate our anniversary. Our group of five—myself, my wife, my mother, and our two kids—stayed in one spacious room. Two extra beds were arranged, and there was still plenty of space for the kids to play. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with all amenities, including fast Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and charging points, which kept the kids entertained with YouTube. The balcony offered lovely views, and the room smelled fresh throughout our stay. The homemade breakfast was another highlight—our 2.5-year-old enjoyed it without any issues. For anyone visiting Srirangam, I highly recommend this place for its comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional service. Even without the thoughtful anniversary gesture, I would still give this place a glowing review!

Indian residency was a wonderful experience. We started there for 2 nights. Super easy check-in process even though we arrived rather late at night. The people are super courteous and all about making your stay exceptional and memorable. The room was super clean, very well maintained amenities. The overall architecture of the building is stunning and beautiful as well. And no words to describe the delicious breakfast every morning. All in all - 5 stars all around. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Srirangam. Srirangam is close to my heart and Indian residency made this trip even more memorable and I look forward to coming back soon!

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were exceptionally clean, cozy, and had a beautiful ambiance. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even preparing special food for our baby. Their care and attention made our experience truly memorable. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return for another stay.

Had a wonderful Homely stay at Indian Residency. The rooms were super spacious, the location was very convenient, breakfast was soooo good and last but not the least the Hosts were super nice and helpful. Overall we had a amazing experience.

Very good accommodation facilities. We stayed twice this year. Rooms are neat and clean and quiet spacious. Amenities provided were good. Hospitality is excellent. Breakfast provided was good. Walkable distance from Sri Temple. Value for the money charged.
