The property is beautiful! Especially at night. The warm pastries, delicious eggs, with attentive service and rich coffee made the breakfast memorable. Our room was perfectly appointed. The staff was helpful and informative at check in and check out. Our new favorite place ! We will be back soon!

Wir haben auf unserem Roadtrip von Toronto zurück nach New York ganz bewusst einen Zwischenstopp an den Finger Lakes eingelegt, um die Region kennenzulernen und ein paar Tage Pause zu machen. Unter genau diesem Aspekt haben wir dieses Hotel gebucht – und waren restlos begeistert. Schon der Empfang war au?ergew?hnlich herzlich. Das Hauptgeb?ude war wundersch?n weihnachtlich geschmückt, sehr gemütlich und hatte sofort eine warme, einladende Atmosph?re. Unser Zimmer war gigantisch sauber, hervorragend ausgestattet und auch für die kalte Jahreszeit perfekt temperiert werden konnte – man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück ist ein klassisches kleines amerikanisches Frühstück: Ei, Kartoffeln, Bagel – wer damit glücklich ist, wird hier absolut zufrieden sein. Dazu hatten wir gro?es Glück mit dem Winterwetter: Schnee, strahlende Sonne und eine wunderbare Ruhe, die das gesamte Erlebnis noch verst?rkt hat. Es gibt Hotels, die man wieder bucht, weil sie in Ordnung waren. Es gibt Hotels, die begeistern. Und dann gibt es diese seltenen Orte, die einen emotional berühren und bei denen man wei?: Hierher komme ich zurück. Genau dazu geh?rt dieses Hotel. Wir werden ganz sicher im n?chsten Herbst wiederkommen und danken dem gesamten Team herzlich für diesen besonderen Aufenthalt.

We were in town for a last minute trip. The room was very nice and was spotless. The grounds are spectacular, I can only imagine what they’re like when the weather is nice. Heidi was so pleasant and made our stay very special. We can not wait for an excuse to come back and stay longer.

We loved our stay! The entire staff were wonderful. The room was elegant and classy (but not stuffy). Being next to the falls state park and the lake was an added plus. The inn's bar is small but cozy. Would definitely return. Note: Some rooms (like ours) do not have a microwave nor a mini-fridge, but they will provide ice (for your cooler). Also note that there is no dinner service in the winter months.

Came to Ithaca for a quick getaway after getting married, a minimoon if you will. The Inn at Taughannock Falls was the perfect location. We could walk to the Falls, it was convenient for wine touring, and we spent a day hiking the area. The Inn itself is absolutely beautiful and everyone took care of us the entire time. We loved absolutely everything about our stay!!

It was peaceful with beautiful views. You could walk right onto the Taughaneck Falls Gorge trail from the property. Gluten free breakfast options were available.

Room was spacious and clean with a view of the lake. Location is very near to the lower falls trail. Would suggest to have a kettle in the room and also have food options at the hotel .
