Although we only had one night, it was New Year's Eve. The fireworks and party were just outside the hotel, but it was still nice and quiet in the room. Great location for everything walkable, including a great walking path on top of the old city wall. Great food options close any time of day.

Easy to find. Very cute rustic decor and clean room. The bed is the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in! Although there is no staff (except when e we checked in), they were always responsive via WhatsApp. Access to “the Wall” is right in front of the hotel. It’s beautiful to walk, run or bike there.

La camera era stata prenotata per 3 persone quando siamo arrivati era preparata solo per 2 persone, l’alloggio è in una piazza dove all’ultimo dell’anno non ci facevano passare neanche a piedi per motivi di sicurezza, abbiamo aspettato 20 minuti poi parlando con le forze dell’ordine siamo riusciti ad entrare. Personale ok al 31 dicembre in un ora è arrivato a sistemare la camera per 3 persone essendo le 22.30 del 31 dicembre mi è dispiaciuto per il personale.

It was the most beautiful room perfectly located within the walls of Lucca. Customer service was 5/5 stars. Highly recommend! ??????????

We enjoyed our stay at Inside the Wall . The room was comfortable, clean and very walkable to everywhere in Lucca . One small setback was on the weekend evening we were there , there was a substantial amount of noise outside, quite late in the evening from young people leaving adjacent piazzas . Certainly not the fault of the property managers .

Very Clean and Beautiful Property. Check in was easy and Rebecka was great, showing us our room and giving us tips on the area and things to do.

The host was fantastic. The presidential suite was incredible. I totally recommend the place. So beautiful, clean, and worth every penny. Tasteful, stylish, and quiet. 10 minutes from everything. Rebeka is the owner/ host and made our wedding anniversary exceptional. I would definitely come back!!!

What an unexpected gem! We recently stayed at Inside the Wall and would absolutely recommend this to anyone travelling to Lucca. We received welcome messages prior to our arrival. Our hostess met us on arrival and the room was both beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. We had a small issue with the AC, but this was immediately rectified with above and beyond service. This was definitely one of the highlights of our recent trip and we sincerely hope we'll have the opportunity to return one day.

The room i nice and clean, but extremely noisy due to a bakery lab just beneath which works night hours
