We spent total of 4 nights at Isla Azul. The owner Rachel has been so nice. The place is 2 blocks from town center. The room is kept cleaned and comfortable. Really enjoyed the stay

房间很乾净,马桶跟淋浴是分开的,朋友都很喜欢这一个房型,一楼就有CU非常的方便,但停车没有保证有位置自驾会比较困扰,也会引导你去附近免费停车场停车

room was clean and spacious for 3 adults. if driving, free parking available and self check in/out through a machine at the carpark lobby. Bottles of water provided every day based on number of pax.
location is good, with a nearby local market with plenty of food. quite centralised, distance to hallim/ udo/ gapado are averaged 1hr drive away.
Downside: there was only small face towels in the room, no normal big size towels. Probably bring your own towels.
overall: will come back! good sea views

1) We are not happy with the rush to check out. The day before we went to the reception to ask for late check out, the lady at reception told us it is 12pm for late check out. Hence we were planned to check out at 12pm. But around 1115am, we received a call to vacate the room. We told them that later check out was request to 12pm. The guy came up to tell us to vacate within 3 mins which makes it 1130am. If not it will be changed with another $22k won. We were not prepared but we had to throw all into the luggage and vacate asap. This is a very bad experience. At least 15 mins should be given if they do not want to honor the 12pm late check out.?
2) Another issue is you get what u paid. The bed has a squeaky sound everytime we flip sides. The bed sheet came off every night.
3) Cu minimart is not opened and it is a self service kiosk where you need to scan something to enter and self pay, and there is no English translation on how to enter, we couldn’t enter at all.
4) Parking space is very limited.
5)No luggage weighing machine for guest to weigh.?
6) there is no bath towel, you need to use hand towel to wipe
7) shampoo conditioner and body wash are outside the bath room, expecting us to step out naked to press the shampoo? Or they expect us to put the shampoo on floor needing to squat down everytime u need a press? Thankfully no elderly with us, if not they would have a hard time squatting and standing to shower?
8) ?lastly, (repeated) the guy should check with the lady staff instead of forcing us to vacate by 1130am giving us only 3 minutes to prep when we were granted 12pm for late check out. This is really bad that we had to eat breakfast in car and repack our luggage in car. We didn’t even have time to brush the teeth. I think at least a 15 mins is good.?
The only plus point is room is big. But flooring has some sharp edge that torn my sock. But this is ok. Sock is not expensive and planned to discard after the trip.
