Dear Adrian, Thank you for your feedback! Kanuku Suites Hotel and Apartments is a boutique hotel that was designed to be a modern antique hotel. Our slogan is “bringing nature to you” and we are in full support of our local indigenous craftsmen and artists, thus offering an authentic Guyanese flare and design in our furnishings. That being said, each of our fully self-contained, air-conditioned rooms are fitted with modern amenities (refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blow dryer, iron and board, a safe, and smart TV). Additionally, all guests have access to free WiFi throughout the entire premises and our gym. We do apologize that the rooms did not match your expectations, but hope that this may offer some useful insight. We take your feedback seriously and will also use it as a measure to continually assess and help ensure that our offering strikes a unique balance between both the modern and antique elements at our property.
