ein wundervolles Reservat und eine traumhaft sch?ne Lodge. Hier passt einfach alles: Unterkunft, Essen, Service und natürlich die wunderbaren Safariausflüge 2 x am Tag. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit Freunden zusammen drei N?chte in der Lodge und haben es extrem genossen. Es ist eine reine Wohlfühlatmosph?re. Vom herzlichen Willkommen bis zur fast tr?nenreichen Abreise. Ein wundersch?nes Zimmer/Zelt, sch?ne ?ffentliche Bereiche (Restaurant Lobby, etc.) und vor allen Dingen alles überschaubar für nur wenige G?ste. Mit unserem Führer Ben hatten wir sehr viel Spa? und wundersch?ne Erlebnisse auf den Safari Fahrten. Besser haben wir es uns kaum vorstellen k?nnen. Amazing experience. Staff were very hospitable. The game drives were also really cool. Our ranger, Daniel, went above and beyond to ensure that we saw all the animals on our list. Overall great experience.

Nous avons été enchanté de notre chambre, au delà de ce qu'on s'imaginait. Nous avons eu BEN notre guide driver, un bohneur, attentionné, agréable, qui aime la nature et les animaux... Un bonheur. La réserve de KAPAMA est superbe c'est la 3ème fois que je viens.

I was lucky enough to visit SA recently and booked a four day stay with Kapama at the Buffalo lodge. It was awesome. Saw rhino, leopards, elephants, lions, buffalo and hippos in my first two drives. Plus a smorgasbord of other wildlife. My drivers were amazingly knowledgeable. If you're going to do it, do it at a place like Kapama – you won't be sorry.

Our 3 night stay at Kapama was EXTRAORDINARY. Our guide, Mark made sure we saw the Big 5 (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and Cape buffalo) in our 1st a drives. Then he made sure we saw a beautiful sunset and so many more animals. All Kapama staff were excellent. Our tent was luxurious. This was beyond our expectations.

This is a great place to stay and experience game drives. The hotel is very small, with only about 10 individual "tents." It felt very private. Our tent was so luxurious, that calling it a tent seems wrong. We had a huge balcony that ran the length of the tent, and could see lots of animals from it. The service was very nice. There is no gym on site, so they arranged for a driver to take us to a neighboring lodge on the same property, about 15 minutes away. Of course we saw animals just driving to the gym! This lodge is very small, quiet, adults-only, perfect for people who are looking for an intimate experience. Our guide was incredible. He knew everything, and taught us so well. He even knew about the constellations. Our game drives often ran late because he'd want to chase down a lead, and it always paid off. It was a great first experience in a game reserve.

Kapama Buffalo Camp was my first stop of three of my South Africa safari trip. I was delighted by the luxury tents nestled among the trees. The tents are spaced far enough apart for privacy yet still only a short walk to the reception and dining area. The covered outdoor dining area has a fireplace for the cool evenings. The Camp staff was super friendly, helpful, and provided excellent customer service.

Our Buffalo Camp 6-day safari was beyond marvelous! The experience is now a bright kaleidoscope of delightful memories: the animals, our luxe tent, the rustic lodge, the beautiful meals, the excellent staff, and the superb service. Our ranger, Daniel, and our tracker, Thabo, are skilled and experienced (and they're a lot of fun). They led us on 12 game drives, each unique and exciting; we saw the “Big Five”, plus antelopes beyond count, warthogs, hyena, elephants, giraffe, and so many other less famous, but equally fascinating game animals. Our Kapama Game Reserve safari will be remembered!

Words cannot even express how incredible our experience was at Buffalo Camp. The room was beautiful and the staff cleaned it twice a day. The food was some of the best we had on our trip. The staff, especially Surprise were very friendly and always available. The gin and tonic’s were on point. The game drives were better than my dreams. Sipho and Brighton were a great team and very knowledgeable. They always answered our questions and never rushed us. They were very professional and expert trackers. We felt very safe with them. The River Lodge gym and wellness center pool were very nice and included in the price. We saw hippos, giraffes, warthogs, buffalos, and other animals from the river lodge pool. Highly recommended staying at Buffalo Camp.
