This hotel was just perfect for our stay. I wanted to see the Pyramids and we were able to see them from the rooftop of the hotel 24/7. The rooms were not new but they were clean, functional and the beds were really comfy. The breakfast was local and varied (and when we had a trip they prepared a pack up breakfast for us). The location (for what we wanted) was incrediable (although the address on their website, tripadvisor and last minute.com is confusing), right on a main street filled with (crazy) cars, tuk tuks, donkeys, cockrels, camels... and non stop honking of horns (we had an internal room and couldn't hear them at night). The gentlemen on reception were all so willing to help - and were really friendly. Wifi cut in and out in the rooms but was fairly stable on the roof top (and we each had a Maya e-SIM so wasn't an issue). | was worried about plugs - but they used the european adapters in the room - so all good. This is not the Ritz-Carlton - but it is a very affordable base (a few broken bits here and there - but nothing that detracts from your stay) - with everything to hand (a pharmacy and ATM about 250m up the road). Uber worked well (￡1.20 each way to the Grand Egyptian Museum and ￡3.50 each way into Downtown Cairo). We felt safe and welcome at all times - the Egyptians were all so warm and welcoming.

I recently stayed at the King of Pharaohs Hotel, and it was a fantastic experience. The rooms were spacious and well-decorated, providing a luxurious feel. The room is a bit on the smaller side. Theres no separate toilet and shower area. But the people running the place are extremely kind and amazing. They made us breakfast at 3:50 am so we can catch a flight. The views of the pyramids are absolutely stunning.
