We had a fantastic stay at Kleinkloof Farm (Kalatama Cottage). The cottage was comfortable, well set up, and genuinely pet-friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The pool and hot tub were a real highlight and perfect for relaxing. The hosts were warm, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout. A great spot for a peaceful break, we would happily return.

We've stayed at Kleinkloof many times and our latest stay was just as gorgeous and relaxing as ever. We love the easygoing but thoughtful styling of the cottages and their green oasis setting at the foot of the Piketberg mountains, which are washed in pink light at dusk, the dipping pool to cool off during the hot summer days, the company of so many beautiful birds, strolling amidst the olive trees and generally winding right down to a slower rhythm of life.

What more can I say than all the other fantastic reviews have already said? It is just a magical place where life stands still for a moment and one can just contemplate the beauty of nature and enjoy the moment itself. The Frantoio cottage - simple, but stylishly decorated- where we stayed also has all these divine extras mentioned before: the hot tub, the source fed splash pool, the great terrace, the braai and the garden with endless views. The cottage has a few gaps, which can easily be fixed: no plug downstairs to connect the computer, no shower ( only bath), no WIFI, some kitchen utensils missing ( f.e. Scissors,oven gloves, salad bowl), outside furniture/pillows : some are a bit old/dirty/torn. Still excellent and out of this world experience. Thank you !

We stayed in the smallest cottage on Kleinkloof Farm and it was a delight. We had everything that we needed and the plunge pool was a delight where we could seek relief from the summer heat. The outdoor area with braai and shaded seating was where we spent most of our time. Being able to walkon the farm early in the morning and watching the sunset and full moon rise from the mountain slopes in the evening was priceless. The staff were incredibly friendly and engaging.

so good to get out of the city. Beautiful location, interiors, bedding, pool and hot tub. All I missed was a shower and microwave.

You want to relax? Go here - views, birds, bees, trees, hikes, dams - it has it all and more. Our dogs loved it and the local doggo was a gent. The splash pool and hot tub were a bonus and made me feel I was at a spa. Dig it.

We LOVED our stay, including our special fur babies as well. This location is close to Cape Town but you feel youre miles away somewhere in italy... A very romanic spot. Well appointed kitchen but missing a microwave ( although has a very good stove) Our host very kindly/ generously upgraded us to a much larger cottage which was stunningly located, stylishly and tastefully decorated. Missing a few fundamentals but on request was promptly supplied. Linen good and beds comfy. Cleaning staff however could do a better job overall. Will definitely visit again!

This was by far one of the most wonderful stays we have had in years. Being so close to the mountain with birds in the nearby shrubs was a treat. The cottage was perfect. We loved the art work, the way the sun shome into the living room in the afternoon. We will most certainly visit you again!!

This was my second visit to Kleinkloof farm, and I will be back! I absolutely love the fact that it's so peaceful with so much bird life. The cottage is well equipped, and it has everything you need to disconnect and recharge. It's not too far from Cape Town which makes it the perfect little getaway. Loved everything about it!

We loved visiting Kleinkloof farm. The location was perfect for our weekend away visiting friends in the area and the accommodation is beautifully done. You can feel the thought and care that has gone into creating this space and we would to return. Felt rested and cups filled up after our visit. Thanks for having us!
