Staying in Lilyanne (the lovely Yellow one) right now. Just a one night stay but what a hidden gem. The hosts Josh and his partner are fantastic from my last minute booking to welcoming me on location. Spotless accommodation, a cute little garden area, great parking and just a short drive from shops and the sea. Bread, milk, cereal plus tea, coffee and sugar left so have everything I need for the morning. Read moans about the drive - I’ve approached from both entrances and yes there’s potholes, but just drive slowly and enjoy the scenery and it’s fine. No need to rush. You’re on holiday! Brilliant place. This will 100% be my go-to for my annual Cornwall work trip. Thanks guys ??

We’ve been coming to Krissies for 10 years now and they never fail to deliver a welcome that makes it feel a home from home. There is always a complimentary selection of food items provided in the fridge and grocery products in the cupboards to get you started so there is no need to go shopping after a long journey. The year we got married we arrived to find they had remembered and had wine and a selection goodies to welcome us. Krissie, Josh and Tristan are super hosts who are always available if needed but otherwise keep a low profile, perfect for what we need.

We LOVED our stay. So many little thoughtful touches. Yes, the drive in off the road is a tad bumpy, but so worth it when you get there. Peaceful , super clean & charming . We stayed in the yellow unit & we will definitely return. ?? Milk , bread , butter & jam ready in the fridge for us & individual boxes of cereal. Just perfect for us.

My partner and I booked in for three nights. Firstly excellent stuff... the chalet is spotlessly clean, newly decorated and bright. The double french doors let in lots of sunshine so the living area felt airy. The welcome by the owner was very friendly and he was helpful telling us about the local area and that we could contact him at any time. The kitchen is basic but then we weren't planning to cook. We were kindly left with provisions for breakfast, toast, jam, milk. The not so good bit is the first impression on arrival. The "bumpy unmade lane" is an understatement. The lane is full of craters and we grounded our low profile car several times. This is not the accomodation for you if you have a low profile car so just be aware. The chalets are built on commercial business land and it looks just that. Nothing pretty about it although the chalets themselves (in one corner) are brightly painted. The window in our bedroom did not open (the owner was very apologetic and there was a fan) but none the less, not a pleasant experience to not be able to open a window and neither of us slept well as we felt stifled without fresh air. We decided to check out early as we felt overall disappointment at not being made sufficiently aware of the extent of the "bumpy" lane and the window issue. The owner was not prepared to reimburse us when we asked him to consider a partial refund... he told us it was our responsibility to investigate the lane and read reviews. I disagree. The extent of the unmade lane should be more obvious prior to arrival. In any case a gesture of goodwill would have made the whole experience and this review much more positive. If you want clean simple accommodation and don't mind the "bumpy" lane and not bothered by not having pretty immediate surroundings then these chalets are for you. I feel this is a fair reflection of our experience and the chalets themselves.
