We had one of the best lunch experiences at Laburnum House. We were greeted promptly and warmly. As soon as our food arrived it became clear that it was amazing, home-cooked, hot and hearty. We were also in a rush and could not finish the food there and then, so the staff packed the soup for us, but also heated it up further, to ensure that it stayed warm until we arrived at our next destination. This really impressed us as it felt that they went the extra mile for our experience Their friendliness and professionalism exceeded expectations and we will go back as soon as we have the opportunity.

Just popped in to laburnum for lunch, outstanding food and cleanliness throughout. Had a baguette filled with chicken mayo,my friend had same with ham and cheese filling,Absolutely yummy,Live local so often pop in ,Hosts Mark and Stewart are lovely.And food and cakes to die for. 5*

Outstanding! Five stars does not do justice to what we have enjoyed - the best afternoon tea we have ever had. From the superb sandwiches, homemade sausage roll and pork pie (all locally sourced) through to the deliciously light scones and then the wonderful small cakes with a French twist, this was Yorkshire food at its finest. The food, the attention to detail and the service was first class. This was our holiday treat and what a treat it was!

A hidden gem of a B & B in Hunstanton, Norfolk. Richard and Nicola were most welcoming. The bedroom was spotless with little extras available, fresh milk, etc, and breakfast extensive and extremely good. The house is a short walk to the sea and shops. For the beach you need Old Hunstanton and it is a great base for visiting the lovely North Norfolk coast.

Our recent visit was amazing. Stuart and Mark made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Their friendly approachable attitude has certainly enticed us back in the very near future. The breakfasts were amazing and they were very accommodating meting our individual needs. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The tea rooms were immaculate with amazing home made cakes made in house by Mark. We would certainly recommend Laburnum House.

A lovely spot for a locally sourced lunch. We had soup and a sandwich, both were lovely and fresh. The chef was passionate about the local produce explaining about the story of the cheese and the jam. The chap who served us was lovely, everyone was friendly to us and our three little Dachshunds. Also one of the only spots still serving lunch after 2pm!! Highly recommend!!

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea at Laburnum House. We had pre-booked and were given a warm welcome on arrival. The Tea Room is immaculate throughout and the service was very professional and friendly. The food which was all sourced locally was presented so well in traditional style making it an all round special occasion. We will definitely be returning. Thank you. Diane and David

Just had lunch....what a lovely place very friendly....had soup and a sandwich all was fresh very hot and delicious...had coffee arrived in a cafitiere with warm milk....very friendly owners would highly recommend...even got water and tests for the dogs...thanks.

This is a real gem of a place. The quality of the food is exceptional and the level of service and attention is second to none. Beautiful and clean. I can't recommend enough. I just wish now we'd been staying there as well.

The house looked warm & inviting especially as the hollyhocks and other flowers are in full bloom. Service is very warm, friendly & informative but mostly the wonderful food is either locally sourced or homemade. Shall be going back for lunch within the next few days.
