Starting with positives, lovely clean hotel with good sized pools and great snack bar. We had a villa which was spacious and a great size for 4 people, right on the poolside. Although there wasn’t anything within walking distance we were able to book a taxi (giving a couple of hours notice) to the local beach and village for food and shops. Negative - this really disappointed me especially as it was my first stay in Crete. A few weeks before our break we were confirming rooms with the manager, we were offered an upgrade to villa B21 (for an extra charge) with a 80sq metre furnished rooftop (from their website - this luxurious terrace features comfortable seating, a spacious sunbathing and lounging area and an additional space for dining, so you really are spoilt for choice). We arrived really late on the first day and noticed there was only a picnic bench on the rooftop but assumed they were sorting this for us the next day. When this wasn’t done I contacted the manager to be told that ‘the owners hadn’t left any cushions’. I was confused as I had booked through Lagada and didn’t realise these were privately owned, however as I explained to the manager the villa was not as advertised. We had upgraded purely based on the rooftop terrace which was unusable. The next day the manager brought 3 deck chairs (for 4 people) from the snack bar and just continued to say the owners hadn’t provided cushions (neither had they provided loungers or a seating area apart from a very old picnic bench!). What was even worse was the rooftop next door was absolutely beautiful with seating, loungers and a bbq, it looked amazing and exactly what we were expecting! I asked if there would be a refund as the place was certainly not as advertised and I would never have ‘upgraded’ to this, but was advised it wasn’t their fault it was the ‘owners’! I feel like I was totally conned and the management would take no responsibility for this.

Siamo appena tornati da un soggiorno davvero piacevole al Lagada Resort che ha superato ogni aspettativa. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è veramente eccezionale. Pur avendo scelto una delle opzioni più economiche (appartamento vista giardino) ci siamo ritrovati uno studio piccolo ma funzionale, fresco e pulito e con una parziale vista mare a sorpresa. L'unico neo dell'appartamento era la scarsità di strumenti da cucina (assenza di taglieri / scolapasta o simili e poche posate) e per la pulizia (abbiamo però richiesto in reception una scopa che poi ci è stata data) ma per il resto direi che non abbiamo avuto nulla di cui lamentarci. Le piscine sono grandi e si trovano sempre lettini o tavoli disponibili, mentre la spiaggia di fronte all'hotel è quasi sempre deserta. L'auto è indispensabile per raggiungere Makry Gialos e le taverne vicine ma consiglio di andare a est ed esplorare le splendide spiagge di Kalo Nero.

Superbe complexe avec 2 piscines au top la vue est magnifique mer et montagne et l’équipe réception très serviable La plage non aménagée se trouve à 250/300 m à pied. A 5 min en voiture j e plage avec beach Club, l’entrée des gorges. De l’autre c?té à 2 km le village de Makrygialos avec toutes les commodites ( resto, jeux d’eau, magasin,…)

Nice Resort, good quiet locaton, excellent view from floor balconies, beautiful garden inside the resort and around the pool. All amenities and services looked to be fine in my vacation in this place, until I lost a very special for me jwelry in the appartment I spent my vacation for which I've been adviced by the Resort's Management that they didn't find it. this piece was of great emotional value for me and although I underlined this to the Managers they claimed that no one from the staff-team found it. I just consider that they didn't took under consideration my phone calls and claiming for over one week (after I had left) and the whole attitude shows very little respect to the customer and the person. This hurted very much and had enormous impact to my opinion for this Resort.

Complexe idyllique, un endroit de rêve sur terre. Les chambres sont superbes, propres et très bien organisées, literie, cuisine, salle de bain et grand balcon. En plus nous avions une terrasse sur le toit ce qui est un plus indéniable. Du balcon ou la terrasse, superbe vue sur la baie, et magnifique vus sur la mer avec un splendide coucher de soleil ?? Beaucoup d’espace extérieur et plusieurs grandes piscines . C’est vraiment très très beau Et à c?té de belles plages accessibles à pied et le joli village à 5 mn en voiture de Makry Gialos avec ses restaurants, boutiques et petit port. Il y a beaucoup de choses à voir et visiter à proximité et c’est l’assurance de belles vacances reposantes réussies. Il y a un parking, ce qui est bien pratique, et la wifi partout. Le personnel a l’accueil est parfait ainsi que les femmes de ménage. De plus Ierapetra est à 20-30 mn en voiture pour une grande ville si besoin. Nous y étions fin Octobre et un super soleil ??, 25 degrés et baignade agréable dans la mer. Nous n’avons pas trouvé de points négatifs sur cet hébergement de Lagada Ressort.
