We had a wonderful New Year vacation at la Mar de Bien: atmosphere, design, food and the team - all at the highest level. It’s a perfect location if you want to escape to a paradise. We appreciated personalised approach and felt very welcomed at la Mar de Bien. A special thank you to Juan who kindly walked us through from the moment of booking to leaving the place - your hospitality makes a big difference. We also had a pleasure to meet the owners, wonderful people, we wish the hotel all the prosperity and hope to come back one day!

La Mar de Bien is located in an ideal location with access to the beach. The surrounding area is virtually untouched (precolonial) if you care to see a beach without hotels, mansions, restaurants/bar, etc. The food amazing. The rooms are fantastic, I recommend "Mar Picao." The staff is friendly and attentive. Great access to other nearby natural attractions.

El hotel es hermoso y cómodo. Tiene habitaciones amplias, muy lindas y es demasiado tranquilo. Es ideal para relajarse y descansar. La comida del restaurante deliciosa, el bar ofrece variedad de cocteles y todos son muy amables. Si te hospedas en este lugar, te recomiendo el masaje relajante en el spa, fue maravilloso.

Very good experience. All of the staff was very nice and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The place itself was very nice- the rooms were very comfortable and the grounds were amazing. The pool was very nice and the beach area was great as well. Very private and quiet. The food at the place was also really good, and not overpriced. The only negatives I would say were that they were building a house next door, so there was construction, and the neighbors down the beach had an absurdly loud wedding until two in the morning. But that was completely out of the hotel's control, so I can't hold it against them. It's just part of the experience of being on the coast of Colombia! Overall the stay was very peaceful and nice, and I would definitely recommend the place to anyone going to this part of Colombia. And I would definitely come back.

Es un paraíso tropical en el que disfrutamos de agradables caminatas en la playa, de una excelente piscina al aire libre, de un maravilloso servicio de restaurante y de las atracciones naturales que hay en sus alrededores. No dudamos en recomendarlo por el entorno en que se encuentra, por la calidez del personal y por el confort que ofrece. 5 de 5.

This is such a beautiful resort, made better by the kindness of the people who work there. Thank you so much to Jeison and Juan, who were so approachable, helpful and thoughtful. All of the other staff also treated us like family. We were so comfortable and happy there, we wish we could go back!

What a beautiful little hidden gem that was a very much needed luxury after spending time in the surrounding jungle. We loved the room, especially the A/C! Very spacious, nice showers and extremely clean. When we arrived we were greeted by Juan Sebastian, who helped us with our bags, provided us with nice glass of ice water while we checked in. Such a lovely man who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and well looked after. The rest of the place was very clean and tidy, the pool was amazing, the included breakfast was delicious and the Bartender Jeison was a real laugh to hang out with while we had some sunset cocktails. Would highly recommended for all types of travellers.
