Had a lovely stay. Apartment spacious and well equipped. Good location. Lovely family, the water is boiling - my husband sustained a painful and extensive burn to his back and bum from the shower. Worried if this happened to a child

Me and my wife stood at the lantern guest house for 7 nights and the only thing to say about this it was absolutely wonderful. Joseph and his family are so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very delicious everything there you need for a good start in the day. You want to stay in marsalforn at gozo go there. Nice clean rooms and just perfect for enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay. Shower was great and room good for my one night stay. The air-conditioning works with coins. I opened the balcony door and the window in the toilet, the cross breeze was enough for me to sleep.

Very nice and charming family-run guesthouse. Cosy and nice rooms, well kept and good cleaning. Excellent and very caring staff, always there to make you feel cared for in every way. Great breakfast, served in the most charming breakfast room.

Very friendly and helpful in getting me checked in after very late arrival around 3am. Great location super close to beach, restaurants and bus stop. Comfortable and clean room. No major noise heard from nearby restaurants nor traffic going past in the road although I was on first floor and some noise from breakfast room does carry if you're looking for a lie in.

Clean hotel
Very clean and centrally located. One block away fomr the harbour lined with restaurants. Bus and groceries one block thr other way. Good breakfast too.

A very nice, comfortable guesthouse a few minutes' walk from the sometimes wet and windy, picturesque seafront, the Lantern Guest House is pretty much one of the best places I have ever stayed! Joseph and the ladies who help him are very helpful, and are happy to give advice about the area. My room was at the front, third floor, via the lift, and the room was very comfortable with a small balcony and a lovely bed with soft pillows and bedding. Joseph's English breakfast was very good - I had to avoid the cake or I would've gone home the size of an elephant, but I walked away from breakfast feeling very full up, and coffee'd up! The bathroom was small but easy to use. There are some good supermarkets nearby, and transport around the island is nearby. Below the guest house is the Lantern restaurant - a very good menu for diners, I had lamb shanks, perfectly cooked, very enjoyable. The area has other great restaurants; the Smugglers Cave does great roast chicken, while the Hot Wok Chinese restaurant cooked me a fantastic chicken with green peppers in black bean sauce. Coffee shops - the small but hip Coffee Circus makes a good brew, and the Candy Cafe on the seafront makes pretty much the best Americano I've had in years (Saquella coffee rocks!) served very well by the polite young people working there!

This is an honest to goodness eating place with service to match - their traditional rabbit in gravy and pasta were delicious and reasonably priced - our host (I believe his name is Kevin) showed experience and friendliness that made our stay pleasant
