I absolutely loved staying at La Pernela! The owner and staff are so incredibly kind. The eggplant torta breakfast was the best thing I ate in the Philippines! Also, the dogs are so sweet. Thank you!

J ai trouvé cet hotel super sympa La propriétaire de nationalité Philippines mais parlant couremment le fran?ais était toujours préte à nous conseiller et nous Donner de bonnes adresses .L hotel est situé dans un endroit Calme à 2mn à pied d une petite plage de sable à 15mn de La plage Touristique d alo a bleach. L a.mbiance est tres chaleureuse et international . Tout est fait pour que l on se sente comme a la maison merci encore pour ces bonnes parties de rigolades et j espere pouvoir revenir bientot.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at the hotel. The owner was very accommodating and helped arrange for our group tour. The staff were nice and rooms were clean. Place was quite you can rest well after a long day on the road

A botique style resort thats just a short walk away from the beach. Plenty of friendly dogs to keep you company when walking the grounds. The service was exquisite. All arrangements from my arrival to the pier and back, the tours, alona beach, and transport to restaurants were organized by the owner. Which was especially helpful when you don't have the best signal in the island. The rooms were quite spacious and cleaned daily. Only issue I had with the room was the windows were not sealed so the occasional noise from outside can be heard. The owner is also an excellent cook and ensured to take my flavor profile into account. Would stay again.

The resort was clean and well kept. Small I think about 15 rooms. Close to ocean access. Bar close as well. They will serve meals with some notice. Staff and owners were very nice and hospitable. Will be staying here again.

Wonderfup A wonderful short stay. Maryvelle and all staff (and dogs!) were so friendly and welcoming. We had great recommendations for our stay. We also arranged breakfast and port transfer which was very helpful. A beautiful property with lovely gardens. Clear to us that Maryvelle cares very much about the style and upkeep of her place. Our room was spacious, cozy and comfortable with everything we needed. Would 100% recommend and hopefully return one day

A quiet and relaxing place. This is perfect for couples who like to have some time together. They also have lovely dogs!! I love dogs and they're well disciplined. The sound of sea waves is also relaxing to ears. Recommended! We really enjoy our stay here.

I and my girlfriend. Had the most beautiful experience at this resort. We stayed 2 1/2 weeks at the resort. The ocean is across the street. An excellent bar next door. The resort itself is cozy, and an absolute gem for cleanliness, hospitality and ensuring you enjoy your stay.. Both the management and the staff are top notch. I was so taken by the staff and the management for their care and help with the information of the area. I am saying that this experience is one of the best at a resort I've ever had. The joy of being in an small resort with pool and food services if needed was unbelievable. A swim in the ocean and then a relaxing float in the pool was the best anyone could as for. I commend the staff and Maryville and Charles for making this part of our trip the best. I will be looking forward to our next trip, and yes i will stay there again, happily.

Me and Lorna loved the Property close access to the Beach front , restaurant in vicinity or 2 of them. Groceries convenience store also . Great location before you hit Alona beach community. Maryvelle godbless her and her associates ,t.y. for the Stay, will be back.

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay and close to the beach, this is the place. 2 minutes walk to the beach and the hotel is very quiet, with lots of nature, a nice pool. It is away from the noise of Alona Beach and close to the best beach in Panglao (dumaluan). You will need a motorcycle to get around, but anyways you will still need a motorcycle to get around Panglao and Bohol,it does not matter wehere you stay. I recommend the place 100% if what you are looking for is tranquility when you arrive at your hotel after an exhausting day. The owner is always at the hotel, so you will receive assistance with whatever you need. I will go back if I have the chance. Thank you!
