Neues Konzept Im Restaurant und kein Deut schlechter als vorher, eben leider nur noch an 2 Tagen in der Woche verfügbar. Es war ein Abend der Genüsse in h?chster Potenz und das bis zum letzten Gang! Sterneniveau auf sehr, sehr angenehmen Niveau, ebenso der herzliche Service. Was für ein grandis?oses Dessert zum Abschluss! Frühstück muss man am n?chsten Tag nicht buchen oder besser auf sehr sp?t verlegen, denn wer vor Ort übernachtet, sollte und m?chte sich natürlich das geniale Frühstück des G?stehauses nicht entgehen lassen. Zur Weinbegleitung gab es sehr interessante Weine. Der Chenin Blanc war unser gro?er Favorit..

Wie waren leider nur 1 Nacht hier... Sch?ne Zimmer, tolles Bad, alles sehr sauber und ruhig. Das Frühstück ein Traum. Wegen unseres sehr offenen Zeitplanes hatten wir abends leider kein Abendessen im Restaurant reserviert. Der Mitarbeiter hat uns aber sofort mit einer tollen Restaurantempfehlung geholfen. Trotzdem habe ich es bedauert, nicht dort gegessen zu haben...

A great stop-off on the way to the Garden Route from Cape Town. Simple, clean rooms with all required facilities. One of the best restaurants, (maybe the best) of our trip around South Africa. Be sure to book a table at the restaurant when you book your room as the restaurant gets full.

La Sosta really is an unmissable place. Our room was spacious, nicely decoraded, with a king size bed and very well appointed. It was in a quiet position, with a veranda facing the garden behind the main house. Dinner was exceptional, from the home baked sourdough bread with fig oil & butter, fantastic beef carpaccio to capeletti - star quality! We chose the scambled eggs on toast for breakfast & it was masterfully done - I would love to take a class with this masterchef! Thanks also to Karel for his attentive service. We will have to make more stopovers at la Sosta in the future!
