The host was very welcoming. We were shown to a lovely, tastefully decorated, comfortable, spacious room with all amenities (tea, coffee etc). Also had a large bathroom and good quality towels and bed linen. Good range of food at breakfast and even went to the bakery to get me fresh, gluten free bread. Much appreciated. Good location for restaurants and the old town.

Ne cherchez pas ailleurs pour vous loger sur Lille. Il est difficile de lister tous les points positifs tellement il y en a ici : l'emplacement idéal, vous ferez tout à pied et si vous venez en voiture un parking souterrain sécurisé est à même pas 400m (et assez large pour des véhicules imposants) ; la maison est décorée avec beaucoup de go?t, nous nous sentons comme à la maison ; mention spécial pour la qualité de la literie, un bonheur ; tout est très propre avec tout le confort que nous pouvons rechercher dans une chambre d'h?t avec machine nespresso et bouilloire dans chaque chambre, serviette et gant de toilette dans les salle de bain avec sèche cheveux. Catherine a même pensé à mettre un appareil anti-moustique "au cas où" (nous Avons pu dormir la fenêtre ouverte sans craindre les piq?res) . Il n'y a rien à redire non plus sur le petit déjeuner qui peut être pris t?t mais aussi tardivement : il y a tout ce que l'on peut attendre d'un petit-déjeuner d'h?tel en buffet. Grace à Catherine nous avons eu d'excellent conseils pour les restaurants. Merci ! Nous reviendrons !

Accueil chaleureux, belle maison idéalement située pour visiter Lille et proche métro. Belle chambre avec tout le nécessaire, petit déjeuner simple et copieux. Pas de parking gratuit à proximité. WiFi disponible gratuitement. On peut déposer notre bagage avant celui est appréciable.

We stayed just one night at this charming little hotel for the rugby World Cup. The owners were very polite and helpful, and the rooms were delightful. Super clean and spacious. I liked the decor very much. The dining room and breakfast were just perfect for our requirements too. I really liked Lille too and shall return for a longer stay - and would be more than happy to stay at La Villa again.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of an Interrail trip. This is a lovely restored art-deco building in the heart of Lille. The property is shared by guests and the host's family. It has recently been restored. The guest rooms are all on the upper floors - there is no lift. The host is incredibly helpful - we were allowed to get to our room well before the official check-in time, and she was helpful when we had a family emergency on the morning of our departure. The room we had - on the first floor - was perfectly adequate, although I did find the shower very slippery! Breakfast was really nice and set us up for the day. Despite being in a city centre location there was no significant noise from the road at night. Guests need to be aware of the steep steps to the accommodation.

Easy to find. There are stairs so bare that in mind. Breakfast was lovely. I have a very limited french vocabulary but we made it work with no problem. We had a great time. Vegetarian buffet breakfast was delicious with good quality food. It is expensive but lovely.

Je n’ai rien à redire: les chambres sont propres, personnel accueillant, bon petit déjeuner, bon rapport qualité prix, bonnes installations et table de jeu mise à disposition dans la chambre du cinquième étage. Je recommande très fortement ! Très bonne expérience.

Très bon accueil. l'emplacement est central et la chambre très confortable. Nous avons beaucoup apprecié partager avec les propriétaires. Les bons plans proposés sont super ! pas de clé que des codes et ?a aussi c est très appréciable niveau place dans un sac. La literie est confortable. Bref nous conseillons vraiment vivement cet endroit pour un séjour découverte à Lille
