Delightful, 8-room hotel on the best strech of golden, sandy beach in Passikudah and arguably the whole island. Yes, the large, comfortable rooms could benefit from a little love here and there but the pool, the empty glowing beach, the wonderful staff and the amazing food more than makes up for a lose tap and some missing paint. This is probably the best value for money you can get when beaching in Sri Lanka, especially if you are not a hard core fan of vast luxury resorts, jetskis, tiktok swings and crowds. The beach, the calm, the kindness, the nature, the beach again...and by the way, did l mention the beach? Perfect!!!

This is the place, where i have ever seen the most gorgeous sunrise in Sri Lanka. Super amaizing hotel with a friendy staff, delicious food and a beautiful beach. Room facilities are absolutely good for the price. My favourite thing here is the amaizing view of this hotel.The Pool which directly facing to the sea is so nice at the evening. A best place for a relaxing beach vaccation in Sri Lanka.

We went on a day trip to Laya Waves. Food was delicious. They served a seafood platter which incredibly delicious. It worth more than the price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Also they have hot butter cuttlefish dish you must definitely try. Its a must visit place!!! Thank you Laya team

This part of the country - or our timing did it - wasn't very touristy. But it's OK, there was no crowd at all. Kilometers long sandy beach without a soul! The water is around 28 - 30 degrees, sunshine. The staff was very friendly, especially Suranga, who takes care of the pool and the sunbeds. Very kind and attentive, intelligent young man. I also owe the manager lady to thank for her help and kindness! The food needs a bit development, a little more meat would be OK. 8 rooms, they are huge. The pool and the beach is very close, great location.

We loved it here. We stayed 2 nights & from the first impression on arrival of the stunning view to the gorgeous food & most kind, attentive staff, it was a highlight of our holiday in Sri Lanka. Still dreaming about that beach! Hope to return some day.

This is our 2nd time at Laya waves. One of the most unexpected surprises we had was what an underrated gem of a hotel this is. Very decent well maintained property. Food is moderately good 6/10. Beach is fantastic. Well maintained clean and wonderful! I would opt for this beach over passikudah any day. Staff very well trained in hospitality. Very hard working dedicated personell from reception to pool to dining. You feel very personalised in the care given something you dont find in large hotels. Efficient service considering the place has just 08 rooms it felt very bustling. The quality of the rooms was very good we even had our own separate kitchenette with iron and board. Any additions they can accommodate they are very obliging to assist with. Dinner and breakfast were Buffet meals and its a welcoming atmosphere. Pool needs an upgrade I will say that in size. But maintained well. Price very economical. Would definitely return and recommend this to others. Especially families with kids.

One of the best hotel I’ve ever been. Super satisfied. The food was amazing like literally the best. Couldn’t forget the staff. They were super friendly. They literally made us feel like we are one big family. How can I forget the view.not gonna lie we are missing that view now. We will definitely visit that place once again. Thank you for everything.

An attractive hotel but we were disappointed for a number of reasons. We were two couples. Both our rooms had problems with the curtains and blinds which needed fixing. It was clear to us that the next guests would experience the same problem as the solution was only temporary. One room had a broken shower and the other had no plug in the basin. The food was OK but seldom hot. However we were most disappointed in the noise level of other guests who were permitted by the manager to hold parties with loud music until late at night, and to take over the pool area during the day with ghetto blasters disturbing any guests that wanted to enjoy some peace and quiet by the beach.

I we’re ere in before tow Day’s ago with workmate’s . All of them are really satisfied the facilities, service and hospitality of the hotel. *@Laya Waves is located in front of the Kalkudah beach. This is one of the great places for people who are looking for memorable experiences and relaxation. .?Nice environment and good staffs. Located in a wonderful place, near to the beach, best place to stay near pasikuda beach. The food is delicious and the price is reasonable, well maintained and friendly service. Nice atmosphere, the view from the pool is amazing. The garden of the hotel is well maintained. The pool is attractive with a beach edge. Foods are tasty. The hotel staff is friendly and takes care of every requirement of the customers. *Our whole group of 20 enjoyed the day at Laya Waves. Our special gratitude thank to FM Chandima who gave us a special support to success our event This is the ideal place if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place to spend some quality time with family and friends.

We had fantastic beach experience at Laya waes. The crew offered standard hospitality. Rooms are clean and well arranged. Foods were delicious and had various dishes to select. Most wonderful thing is the beach side. It is clean and more attractive. Can spend more and more time there and can had unlimited relaxation. Thank you Laya Waves for offering this wonderful time.
