Freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Frühstück, sch?ner Pool. Das Zimmer war sauber und modern eingerichtet, allerdings war der Abfluss im Bad verstopft. Auch tropfte die Duschbrause ununterbrochen, was man an der Rezeption lediglich zur Kenntnis genommen hat.

the room accommodations, and deck area were outstanding! the staff was amazing, Rau who manages the entire property in the evening was gracious and helpful. Loved our say, will be back!

Accueil chaleureux, accès à la piscine en tout temps (eau rafraichissante malgré la température chaude), propreté de l'établissement, excellent petit déjeuner

Muy cómodo, íntimo, tranquilo. Muy buenas vistas ya que está un poco colina arriba.
Desayuno bueno, con fruta, omelete y fiambre, además de dulce.

Tres bel hotel, bien situe avec vue magnifique sur le village et le fleuve douro et les vignobles dans les montagnes. Tranquille et propre. belle piscine a débordement avec superbe vue. Seul chose qui nous a decu est le nombre de prise de courant disponible dans la chambre, tres peu...

Wunderbares Hotel oberhalb des Douro
Ein wunderbares Hotel, das wir sehr genossen haben. Der Pool mit Blick auf den Douro war ein Genuss, das Zimmer gro? mit Terrasse, allerdings nicht mit Blick zum Tal. Auch das Frühstück war hervorragend: Es gab u.a. Pasteis de Nata und frisch gepressten Orangensaft. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Der Weg zum Hotel ist mit Koffern eine gewisse Herausforderung. Wir empfehlen, statt des kurzen Weges über Treppen und steile Wegstücke mit Kopfsteinpflaster den etwas weiteren Weg über die geteerte Stra?e zu nehmen, oder ggf. ein Taxi zu w?hlen.

A little out of the way. VERY steep climb to the hotel - taxi needed unless you are very fit. Fine walking down.
Hotel was spotless couldn't fault it at all.
Slight issue with tea & coffee in the room. Couldn't plug kettle in without it being on the floor - could maybe do with a small table near the plug??
Only 1 normal tea bag and 1 fruit t bag for 2 people staying. Had to ask for extra t bags, spoon and milk-wasn't supplied in the room.
Breakfast was good-not a massive choice but what was there was very high quality and was replenished regularly.
The hotel it self was affiliated with a restaurant in town which we went to twice-amazing food and service.
Staff were very helpful-great hotel would definetely recommend and stay again.
