Great stay and book in for dinner!
Room was nice, after seeing orher reviews we booked for dinner and the steak waa really special with sevice to match. We will stay again

A fabulous place to stay. Amazing food.

Coming off the SS27 it is easy to drive past this place in a rush to get into town. Simply don’t! This hotel is something else. Not five star because it doesn’t feel the need to be. It’s restaurant isn’t probably a place that Michelin will ever visit although it deserves all the accolades. The rooms are spacious and simply furnished. Everything you need and nothing you don’t and it all works perfectly. The staff are charming and extremely helpful. More to the point it has a real family feel where every single one of them we interacted with had an intense and genuine wish to help - without the five star obsequiousness. The restaurant is also very special. Again the whole family operate as one. All of them genuinely know and have an immense pride about the local ingredients they use and explain them clearly. The food itself is brilliantly presented and without fault. As if all of the above isn’t enough the price of everything reasonable, extremely good value for what you get. Visit. Stay. You won’t regret it.

The staff were very friendly & theroomwas a good size. The parking was easy & the walk to town looked horrendous but was actually fine!

A great experience, the owners gave us a room with a balcony after we kindly asked them. The views were amazing, I recommend it.

This was a lovely find. We only stayed for one night but would have loved to stayed longer. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was excellent. We ate in the restaurant and again staff were excellent explaining all the options. The main course was cooked and served at our table which was a nice touch. We will certainly consider staying here on the way back should our routing take us that way.

We stayed here for 3 nights on our way and way back from Lake Garda with our dog. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Aosta and set with a beautiful view of the Alps. We received a warm welcome and ate our evening meal at the hotel. The service was perfect and the food was cooked to perfection with a great choice. We loved the local grappa that was explained to us and we purchased some to take home. The room was big with everything you need and very clean. I would recommend this hotel and hope to visit again next year. Georgina

Le Charaban is located north of the Center of Aosta, approximately an 8 minute drive. Location: very close to both the Switzerland and France Borders! We were in 3 countries in 1 day!! Facility: has a mountain vibe Nice wood floors/Features in rooms Marble stairs through out. Room: plenty of space, Big comfortable bed, desk, TV Closet, bathroom equipped with Bidet and shower. We had a nice Balcony with views of the mountains Parking: we had a rental car, Plenty of room to park on site. Breakfast: the on-site restaurant is Location for breakfast, you order Your coffees/eggs and rest of food is buffet style Staff: friendly family runs business.
