The staff are very friendly. The room very clean. Very quiet. Recently renovated. Ensuite is small but has everything. The Links was the first to have ensuites and the House is nearly 100 years old. Good breakfast. Would stay again

The Keepers Cottage was found to be dark, cold and lacking the "creature comforts"we've come to expect as North Americans upon Check- In.ie no heat, no comfy chair +ottoman, no drawers to put clothes in, just a few hangers off a High Open Shelf, soft mattress AND an old ill-fitted door with no security - just a push button lock from the int door handle (?).
I found this inadequate and did not sleep well at all. No phone in room and no one available at Inn after 8 pm. Heater did not work appropriately, no insulation in cottage, hard to get hot water, and was awoken at 2 am by a loud thump" on the roof - apparently Possums are noturnal animals that jump from trees in the middle of the night! It was all part of the unique ' Stralia experience. Felt like I was Camping, with some shelter but not much. If you like "roughing it on vacation" then the Keepers Cottage is for you!!

Clean room, great deal through *******, nice breakfast included. Nice lounge area.

Breakfast included with room was very nice a basic egg and bacon option. Other options available for additional cost. The staff was very friendly. The building was very quaint but with lovely updates to the rooms. The courtyard furniture could be a bit nicer. We had a lovely stay.

We have stayed at Links a few times before. It used to be a beautiful place with lovely grounds and special touches. It is disappointing that the outdoor areas now look rather unkept with old and dirty furniture. The lounge is lovely but it was very cold & the fire would have been nice. Our room was also cold & the advertised central heating didn’t work. For the price, we felt the renovated room was not very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were nice but the service could be improved.

This is an old fashioned guesthouse type hotel.
The grounds are lovely.
The common areas are appealing and very welcoming. Staff are friendly.
The rooms are rather basic.
Smart bathrooms but they clearly have a drainage issue....some quite unpleasant smells which didn't fade.
This is just an okay, slightly quirky option.
not worth the premium price point but if you can get a good deal, worth a look.

We had left the room after breakfast around 9.30 and returned around 1.15pm.We had left the tag on the door to have the room cleaned. This was not done. We had to use the room to dress up as we were attending a wedding. The cleaner was advised by the supervisor to clean the room while we dressed up. She was at the door with the cleaner. We were told that if this was done now then the room will not be cleaned. We had no choice. The cleaner spent 5mins to make the bed and replace the towels .The bin was not emptied nor the tea cups replaced. They had been used that morning to drink tea. Not a good experience.

Good sized well decorated and clean well equipped room. Friendly staff. Good restaurant and great breakfasts.

No replacement of tissue box. It’s empty there on our 2nd day of stay.
Breakfast is limited selection, it should be listed on ads if breakfast included only for very limit items of food, it’s a little bit of misleading of guests.
