This hotel has an excellent location. Loma Tranquila has the best view of the city from this beautiful mountain just minutes from Alajuela.

El personal fue muy amable, pero la habitación no estaba en muy buenas condiciones, pudimos descansar si, pero habia un olor muy fuerte a drenaje dentro de la habitación y como el ba?o y regadera no tienen puerta pues ni como contenerlo.
Petit h?tel familial sympathique. L’h?te est venue nous accueillir dès notre arrivée tardive. Elle a proposé de nous cuisiner des nachos et nous avons accepté son offre. C’était très bon et très apprécié après la route de notre journée. L’h?tel dispose d’une vue incroyable sur la ville de San José. Il s’agit d’une option intéressante si vous avez besoin d’un h?tel près de l’aéroport et si vous souhaitez un endroit paisible loin de la cohue de la ville. C’est à environ 20 minutes de l’aéroport.
On airplane route so quite noisey, no tea/coffee/ water facilities in room, nil fridge, breakfast minimal with no variety only hot drink option nil water and only 1 hr from 8-9am - started late sometimes as well, pillows had mildew on, top blanket dirty, tidy room but on inspection dirty, the view was amazing! Staff friendly but actually don’t understand English well, tried asking activities in area many times but no help even with translator. I wouldn’t stay here again.
Soggiorno veloce appena atterrati a San Josè. Camera al piano terra discreta, qualche rumore dalle macchine che parcheggiano davanti ma tutto sommato dormito bene. Le ragazze che gestiscono sono gentilissime e disponibili: hanno cercato di anticipare la colazione per permetterci di partire presto per il vulcano Poas. Bel panorama su San Josè.
We live close enough to visit and decided to check it out before reserving a room. The room we were shown had a bad smell coming from the bathroom. Before agreeing to place the deposit in cash we were told that the smell would be taken care of. One day later upon arriving for check-in we didn't detect any smell mainly because the ceiling fan was on, the bathroom door was closed and windows were open. In the evening we turned off the ceiling fan because it was getting cold. That's when the strong septic smell came from the bathroom. It was quite nauseating!!! So much so, we decided not to stay even after being offered the best room in the hotel. The reservation online was for 10,000cc but gave 20,000cc instead and settled upon arrival, only got back 20,000cc of the 40,000cc total.
