This is a lovely welcoming inn and/or b and b. We stayed for two nights in the Rose Room which was very spacious and overlooked Rue de Herbes. An incredibly huge bathroom as well. Maison Fernand is located in the heart of the City and one can walk everywhere from there. Staff is very welcoming, friendly,helpful and professional. As mentioned in other reviews, one has to be able to walk up stairs - no elevator - and be able to carry one’s luggage. Breakfast can be served on the terrace, in your room or downstairs in the dining area. Breakfast is very French: Petit dejeuner - baguette, coffee, juice, fruit and yoghurt and croissants. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

Wow!!!! What a fantastic experience. We were graciously welcomed and made to feel at home immediately. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious and delightful. The staff went above and beyond and organized a special day of touring for us. There is no elevator, so one must be able to do steps. Our stay was the perfect Bordeaux stay and experience.

Das Maison Fernand liegt gleich bei der Rue Ste. Catherine an perfekter und ruhiger Lage. Unscheinbarer Eingang zu grossem Erlebnis. Extrem grosse Zimmer für ein Stadthotel, liebevoll eingerichtet. Sehr pers?nlicher Empfang und Betreuung. Das Frühstück auf der kleinen Dachterrasse ist bei sch?nem Wetter (ja, auch Anfang November) allein schon von der Lokalit?t ein einzigartiges Erlebnis und l?sst keine Wünsche offen. Alles hat gepasst: Kaffeemaschine und Wasser kostenlos auf dem Zimmer, grosszügiges Badzimmer, riesiges Zimmer (Le Philomène) , extreme Sauberkeit, ruhige Umgebung und in perfekter Distanz zum pulsierenden Zentrum in Bordeaux. Was kann man noch mehr wollen? Mit nur vier Zimmern hoffentlich noch lange ein Geheimtipp.

A most beautiful home and experience! If you wish to feel the city of Bordeaux, this is the home for you. The neighborhood is bustling, you are in the heart of the city. You experience the city as resident, not a visitor. The staff is so very friendly, accommodating and professional. From greeting us, to making our dinner reservations, to the appointments in the room. The Rose Suite was divine! Whilst the design is contemporary, the architectural wonders of the room are intact. The bathroom is a true joy. We were very impressed with the quality of the linens and amenities. This is a perfect place to be one with the city of Bordeaux!

This a lovely B&B located in the very heart of Bordeaux. A tram runs directly outside the airport and there is a stop only 100m from Maison Fernand. It is only a short walk to a 2nd tram stop which links you to the central train station. The hotel room was very nice with everything a traveller would want and the owner /staff go out their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. There is a small roof top terrace where breakfast is taken during good weather, and there are numerous bars and restaurants located directly outside the front door. On the first night of our holiday my wife lost her mobile phone, but received a call several days later from a person who had found it. The mobile was dropped off at Maison Fernand and Ahmed kindly arranged for the mobile to be sent to the UK which was a great gesture. A special thanks to Kinga who goes out her way to help you have the best stay.

Wonderful hotel in great location with delightful staff. We loved everything about it. Bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water in the well appointed shower. We enjoyed our breakfast of baguettes, fruit, granola and fresh squeezed orange juice on the terrace. Our only regret was just staying one night. Highly recommend!

Omg!! What a cute little boutique hotel!! Everything was perfect!! Ahmed the owner, met us at the door and gave us the tour!! It was just perfect from the eating area where we could help yourself to teas, coffees, etc and our room was so authentic French with two huge French doors looking out on to a very pretty and lively square! There were so many little quirky notes, signs, games and trivia dotted around the room. Lots of power points, speaker, charger, water, teas, coffee and the bathroom lotions and potions were plentiful and smellled devine!! Full unsuite with amazing shower and the local buns dropped into the basket outside our door with a little fun note each day. Breakfast was on the upper terrace ... so cute and quaint and delicious!! Lorraina and Kinga could not do enough for us!! Oh ... and very comfortable bed too!! Cant wait to stay here again!! Thank you Ahmed, Kinga and Lorraina!!

Un établissement parfait decoré avec beaucoup de go?t très raffiné rien est oublié très chaleureux.les chambres sont parfaites accueil divin. Le petit déjeuner de qualité. Un emplacement idéal..très calme merci beaucoup

Maison Fernand non è un B&B o un albergo. E' una casa in cui sentirsi ospiti desiderati. Siamo stati accolti da Ahmed&Clèo con gentilezza e disponibilità. Ci hanno fornito tutte le indicazioni per vivere un we a bordeaux fantastico e si sono addirittura preoccupati di indicarci e prenotare per noi i migliori ristoranti della città (Son' e Bouchon Bordulais ultra consigliati). La CAMERA è minimale ma ben organizzata e la cura del dettaglio sorprendente. C'è tutto quello che è necessario. All'ultimo piano c'è anche una TERRAZZA dove poter fare la colazione ed aperitivo. COLAZIONE perfetta: si sceglie cosa mangiare da una lista e si evita lo spreco di cibo (fattore molto apprezzato). Gli ingredienti sono buonissimo e molti artigianali. PS: provate il pane speciale!! Posizione Centralissima. Se soggiornate in questa zona non avrete bisogno di prendere i mezzi. A 100 metri c'è anche lo strallo per il bike rental.

Maison Bordelaise rénovée avec 4 chambres Décoration actuelle Situation exceptionnelle Ahmed a beaucoup d’empathie pour ses h?tes Nous avions la chambre oh Georges à 180€/nuit (19m2 + petite salle de bain avec douche) qui donne sur la place très animée Ceci dit très bonne insonorisation des chassis Petits déjeuners pris sur la terrasse du 3ème étage les jours de beau temps sinon en chambre. Une salle de petit déjeuner au rez est sur le point d’être opérationnelle…ce qui sera un + pour tout le monde L’équipe qui gère cette maison d’h?te est jeune…Certains détails le démontrent
