We use to staty in your tea estate bungalows as well usally like valparai. Comparing the valparai ambiance and hospitality is little bit lesser here ar meghamalai. I think in coming days you will improve further here too.

Reception at the property was not good. Upon reaching there, we were forced to make the remaining balance by asking us to connect the wifi ( as there is no internet connection) even before refreshing in the room after a long journey and also made 75 % of payment beforehand. No welcomedrink but it was mentioned at the time of booking Shown the tea packets, but forced us to make the payment immediately as if they are thinking we will escape with out paying No evening snacks available, if we ask, they informed us it is chargeable No first aid kit available in the property not even a band aid plaster Only good thing is the food and taste. Thanks to the chef there.

Great place to stay with family or friends. Very close to nature and you get a break from the busy world you’re in, with no mobile signals except for BSNL. The stay provides WiFi connectivity which helps cater to calls or msgs via WhatsApp or WiFi calling. They provide breakfast, lunch and dinner which feel very much homemade and is great in taste with a variety spread. The nature walk in the evening and morning in the tea estate and around the lake is awesome! The people over there also are very welcoming and the hospitality is great! Thank you Mr. Shiva, Mr. Vinod, Mr. Sumon! Would love to visit again!

Location is awesome, Rooms are clean and neat. Food is good. Nice place to relax . Overall good experience . Ideal for family and friends to plan short stay .

We stayed in the Wood Briar property at Meghamalai. Due to certain issues, the bungalow that I had booked wasn't available. They informed this prior to our visit and automatically upgraded our stay for no cost voluntarily. The housekeeping is so professional that they even arranged our footwear that was lying on the floor [makes us look so disorganized!!]. Talking about the food, "excellent" is an understatement! All these instances speak volumes of their commitment and professionalism. All the staff, from the manager Mr.Ebin and the rest of the team [guide Sekhar, staff team consisting of Manas, Suman, Raju Antony, cook Pushparaj] were very kind and approachable, with a smiling face. There is also a small play area for the kids to play, that too one overlooking a pristine lake! Anyone looking for unfiltered and serene environment to relax, rejuvenate your mind and body can blindly come to this place, that too at a decent price!

Situated in prime location of Meghamalai. Must experience Briar property and nature walk. Courtesy of the staff, cleanliness of Bunglow, food menu n quality was good. Accommodation need to be renovated to upgrade comfort.

Really nice spot and good care food also damn good. you can stay 1 night and experience nature beyond that nothing in Mega malai. Cost wise its damn expensive almost 5 start hotel 2 Bedroom stay. management has to reduce price at least during weekday stay. Hospitality is good. Care take person Mr. Dhashu he taken care lot.

The bungalow is located amidst a tea plantation- which is very scenic. The facilities are basic but very clean. The food was good- very much like home cooked.. the person incharge- Shiva was very courteous. I would recommend a 2 nights stay.

I'm a regular tourist to briar property since 2022. Sand river cottage at briar tea Bungalows in Megamalai was a quite cosy place to stay and enjoy the valley view of amazing mountains. The hospitality was too good. The care taker Mr.Eshwaran took care of us from the day we checked in till the day we check out. He was such a kind soul took care of each and everything we looked for. The home made food was very delicious with simple spices and soothing my stomach. I'd definitely visit Megamalai property of briar group again to enjoy the flora and fauna. We had a great stay at Sand river cottage and caprured memorable moments. Thanks to the host Mr.Ebin & Dhanush for organiser our stay at the briar property.

Such a wonderful stay at Manalar Bunglow. We had a great time for 2 nights. Care taker Mr. Shiva and Mr. Sekar was really helpful. Hospitality was top notch. Bunglow was well maintained. Will defintely recommend to others and will revisit for sure.
