Beautiful, artistic, friendly and waterfront!!! This property is absolutely beautiful! Spacious, awesome waterfront views, and very secure. Gated parking area, 24 hour security guards, a beautiful cooked to order breakfast, and every person that we encountered on the staff was professional, kind, and welcoming. We absolutely recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay in La Paz. Just far enough from the waterfront walk to miss the hustle and bustle, but just close enough to access with a very short driv, or a robust walk. (1.7 km)

We had a great stay at the Marea. It's a small location a kilometer or two away from the downtown, quiet, with its own beach. Our room was beautiful and spacious, with a large bath/shower. The upstairs kitchen was complete and well stocked with appliances, utensils and crockery. It has an associated lounging area and great views. It was nice for the two of us, but would be super if you were traveling with a group of friends. The grounds are nicely decorated with murals and sculptures We had breakfasts at the associated restaurant, and they were very good. My only wish would be opening a little earlier, so we could catch breakfast before some of our earlier tours. That being said, when we asked the staff if they could rush our breakfast one morning, and they were most accommodating. The location appears to be a popular destination for weddings, as there were celebrations on both Friday and Saturday nights. The weddings looked very well planned, and a lot of fun to be around. Aside from the celebrations, it was a quiet location. They have their own secured parking area and 24x7 security. We're looking for excuses to come back with friends.

A Hidden Gem in La Paz! It is a very lovely place, where we can see water from our porch. The place is very safe and I enjoyed a walk around the place. I loved the breakfast, which is another big plus. It is great to have a car. Enjoyed the stay very much and shall be back again.

The property itself is gorgeous. Plenty of hot water. Everything worked except for the heater/ AC. Its possible I just couldn't figgure it out.

We had a very nice experience at Marea. The staff were super friendly. The laundry service was quick and inexpensive. We loved how clean water was available and the ability to use the third floor kitchen and living area. The house coffee was absolutely delicious. Very comfortable beds. One of the best things was the breakfast which is built into the price. There were truly gourmet options and real good wait staff service. Nice, quiet area but still walkable to malecon.

Dejo mucho que desear para el costo “hotel boutique”. Te venden cremas de cierta marca de prestigio . Lo que NO VENDEN es lo básico (pasta , cepillo de dientes etc). Me tocó un mal colchón , por el costo que se paga por noche . No hay comunicación entre lobby y seguridad ya que cada que entraba preguntan a que vas , que habitación tienes y demás (cuando te dan un brazalete por huésped , habían 2 coches en todo el hotel , son 8 habitaciones . No hay piscina No hay jacuzzi El restaurante también deja mucho que desear Te incluye si pagas el desayuno incluido solo plato fuerte . No fruta , no pan dulce .

Sabes que tu estancia estará de 10/10 Cuando llegas a la habitación y tiene todas las comodidades sabrás que tu estancia estará 10/10 si encuentras productos de marcas reconocidas entre las amenos del ba?o, disfrute mucho tener shampoo y acondicionador de l’occitane en mi sala de ba?o. La propiedad es muy grande y agradable para dar paseos al atardecer y al amanecer en el hotel, el minibar no es abierto pero los precios son razonables para que disfrutes sin salir de la propiedad. Mi esposo y yo estaremos encantados de regresar a la comodidad de la ropa de cama y la confortable cama y almohadas de la habitación, la vista del balcón es inolvidable y se disfruta mucho leer en ella. :D
