This charming, small hotel sits atop a hill—reaching it requires a fairly steep walk, but the effort pays off with spectacular views. The pool is inviting and well maintained, the rooms, though compact, are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served poolside, offering a refreshingly cool setting in the summer months. It features a standard European selection with a few added treats, making for an enjoyable start to the day. I would happily stay here again.

One of a kind. Excellent hotel in Kamares of Sifnos. Delicious breakfast, local food made with love and care. Definitely 5/5 experience.

We had an excellent stay at Margado Sifnos, where the family-run management truly makes the difference. You can feel the care and attention to detail in every aspect of the experience — from the warm welcome to the consistent effort to maintain high standards throughout the property. The breakfast served every morning was truly exceptional, offering a wide variety of fresh options and even accommodating vegan and vegetarian needs with care and creativity. Our room was modern and thoughtfully designed, offering about 18 m2 of well-organized space that met every need. The private terrace with a stunning view of the port was the perfect place to relax at any time of day. The pool area is a great bonus — a quiet and comfortable place to enjoy a break, especially before departure. Finally, the free shuttle service on request was a much-appreciated touch, especially considering the property’s hillside location. The elevated position ensures a peaceful, silent atmosphere with breathtaking views, away from the hustle of the port. Highly recommended — you can really feel the heart and soul of a family working together to create a memorable stay.

Chambre très propre et très bien décorée. Très belle vue depuis la terrasse. Stella a été très gentille avec nous pour nous aider à récupérer des vêtements que nous avions oublié sur une autre ile. La piscine est vraiment trés agréable, nous avons passé un séjour génial. Nous y retournerons volontier.

Chambres confort dans une maison typique très cosy, à proximité du port, avec belles vues sur la baie (et sur la mer). Tout le monde est vraiment aux petits soins ! Les petits dej sont piles ce qu’il faut (continental avec plats traditionnels grecques, dont les fameux pois chiches home made!). Piscine très agréable pour se détendre au calme. On a passé un très bon moment !

Leider verbrachten wir nur drei N?chte in diesem kleinen Paradies auf der Insel Sifnos. Ein deutlich l?ngerer Aufenthalt w?re sinnvoll gewesen. Aber wer wei? schon vorher, dass es noch solche wundervollen Orte gibt. Die Unterkunft hatte genau die perfekte Gr??e und lag wundersch?n im oberen Teil von Kamares. Das Zimmer, der Poolbereich, das Frühstück, alles perfekt und nichts daran auszusetzen. Die Besitzerfamilie ist sehr freundlich und wir haben uns von Anfang an herzlich willkommen gefühlt. Nicht zu vergessen die lieben Hunde und der Papagei in der Unterkunft ??. Die Sauberkeit war vorbildlich. Wir werden sicher nochmals wiederkommen!!!?? PS: Eigentlich h?tte ich das nicht schreiben dürfen, denn damit habe ich diesen Geheimtipp verraten! ??

Tout est PARFAIT !! Stella et Nikos adorables. Endroit magnifique et chaleureux. Petit déjeuner extraordinaire, varié,préparé avec soins par Stella et Nikos avec des produits locaux. Piscine très agréable. Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans le pigeonnier : inoubliable. Nous recommandons le Margado en lui attribuant 10 étoiles au moins ! Et sans oublier Rafa ....

The accommodation is amazingly convenient for the ferry and the lovely beach and tavernas in Kamares. You are picked up from the ferry, on arrival, and really looked after. The rooms are beautiful, with excellent balconies and views of the bay, port etc. Breakfast is bountiful and delicious, and the pool area never seemed to get overcrowded (even in August). It is only a five minute walk down to the harbour, and an array of wonderful restaurants, with the steep walk back up not being a problem at all. Though there seemed to be a regular bus timetable in high season, it was better to hire a car - to explore some of the nooks and crannies of the island at our leisure. Overall, this is an amazing place to stay and you will fall in love with the charm and grace of both the accommodation and the wonderful island of Sifnos.

Les plus grands atouts de ce petit h?tel fut, en ce qui nous concerne, d'une part l'accueil fort sympathique des propriétaires, et d'autre part la qualité du petit-déje?ner, excellent et copieux. La chambre réservée (la plus basique, car il ne restait plus que celle-ci malheureusement lors de notre réservation..), fut très décevante : petite, avec vue sur le parking et très partiellement sur le port..), et très bruyante (en raison du claquement de la porte d'entrée de la chambre voisine..). Autre point, la piscine, agréable et salvatrice, n'est cependant pas ouverte en continu dans la journée. L'emplacement de cet h?tel devait être un spot il y a quelques années, mais malheureusement, toutes les constructions autour l'empêchent désormais de sortir du lot...
