I and my son visited the Margarita House for almost a week. The place was so perfect and the staff was most amazing. The food was really good as well. I would certainly visit again. It’s an oasis in a busy city which is just an Uber away. Thank you and I hope I’ll see you again

Our 8 day stay at the Margarita house was lovely! The staff was the best part! We were greeted by name every day (and we were a group of 5!); everyone was extremely personable and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the grounds and gardens beautiful. This guesthouse provides everything you need for a stay in Nairobi! The food there was also delicious, however, the wait time could be a bit long. Once we were prepared for this, it was no problem!

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! Let me first start off by saying how amazing the staff here is. They go over and beyond for their guests. Truly the nicest group of individuals I have ever met. I look forward to the day I get to see them again! Rooms are very spacious and nice. Large bathrooms with fresh towels everyday and beds made up each day. Good food and great coffee. The area is very nice and safe. I only have positive things to say about our stay here and look forward to coming back.

The staff at Margarita House are very welcoming and helpful. Our room was quiet and clean. It would be helpful if they had towel racks in the bathroom, and we did have ask for an additional towel to use as a bathmat (but minor issues). We ate in their restaurant for breakfast (included) and dinner (extra). The food was good. Realize that likely most neighborhoods in Nairobi are not safe just to walk around. I felt very safe in the hotel, but it is not in a walkable area. However, it is close to several places of note in the Karen area of Nairobi.

First off, the staff were amazingly accommodating throughout our 4 day stay in the Karen neighborhood of Nairobi. They consistently went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable and as as secure as possible! The rooms were clean, the food was always cooked fresh off the grill. Travel from the Margarita House was easy, UBER's were plentiful and probably the most economical way to get around to all area's of the city. Every driver we had was friendly and had no issues when chatting in English. Tips #1 - Because there are so many UBER drivers in the area, they will often offer to wait for you at your drop off point to make sure you don't have to wait for another when your done touring. #2 - Make sure you do accept rides from actual UBER drivers. There are some independent drivers who will say they're with UBER and will only accept cash at your destination point. This could be scary as they decide to take their route to a destination without being tracked on a route by an application and like we said, the money transaction. If your looking for a stay with comfortable Kenyan charm and access to everything one would need during some persons downtime or as a stop over between safari's , then we suggest this would be the perfect place to climatize yourself the the Kenyan culture.
