Great for overnight stay, everything was clean and comfy

The room was large, providing space for our family of 4. It was clean, with coffee, milk, bottles, biscuits & earplugs. The staff were so lovely and helpful. We’d stay again & definitely recommend.

Would be a great idea to have laundry facilities - for all the tournaments held in Coffs. Pool area wasn’t that clean, when asked for room to be serviced came back and only bins changed and towels left but no bed made. Reception was not that welcoming at times.

The property is located right next to a busy highway and is extremely noisy. Unfortunately, there is virtually no sound insulation, and our ground floor room made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep due to constant traffic noise and sounds from the floor above. Additionally, the bathroom and shower floor were quite dirty, which added to our disappointment. Overall, it was not a comfortable stay.

Cosy and Comfortable Overall great stay. Lovely bed and comfortable room. Great to have microwave, coffee machine and other crockery cutlery & available. Room can be bright (no curtains in kitchen area) and fan in bathroom was a bit noisy but otherwise everything worked well. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

The motel is well set up and maintained but due to location there is a lot of noise that disturbs the night.

Property is adjacent to the highway running through Coffs. HGVs run past the property and our room was at the end of the "block", just 20 metres from the road. It was noisy. Other rooms further away may not have had this problem. Ear plugs were supplied (thus recognising that there is a noise problem) but the other observation of the area is that there are a lot of motels on the same street. Most seemed to be a little further back than the end room we had at the Matador. The room size was good. The air con worked beautifully after a hot day in the car and the pool was nice and refreshing for a cool down.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I had to delay a booking for one night very late in the day because of a family issue and they were totally understanding. This place is ideal for a quick overnight stop, being right next door to the highway. Great motel.

Upon arriving was greeted by Crystal on reception who was absolutely delightful. She couldn’t have been more helpful she showed us our room and explained how everything worked even offered assistance with our luggage if we needed as my husband has trouble walking. Would definitely stay there again.
