Very close to the station and also close to a lot of scooter rentals. Nice vibe and cozy room. We came in late and left and just wanted an affordable night stay spot and Meci was the best spot for that!
Very positive experience. Place is quite nice if you look for a decent Hostel in Hualien (even though it might look a little bit run down from the outside).
Nice roof top terrace for a night cup and 24h free flow coffee/tea is a plus.
Communication with the front desk staff varies a lot, depending on the individual English language skills of the staff on duty, but has never been a real issue.
Moreover, we‘ve been quite surprised having a German speaking guy there the day we‘ve checked in.
