Well organised room with great furniture. Friendly staff who made check in easy. Parking accross the road is great. Wifi at this resort is excellent. The only down side was there really was no atmosphere. We may have seen about 2 people the whole time we were there. We enjoyed the fact it was an adult only resort but it was more just for peaceful laxing. There is no activity or entertainment.

All the Staff were exceptional in all aspects of our stay with the Moana Sands Lagoon Resort- any request was done with ease, with professionalism, grace and with a smile. It was our second time at the Lagoon Resort. The facilities are outstanding & our room was fabulous. My mums first time with us , she’s hard to impress , but absolutely loved being spoilt & being paid extra attention- AMAZING
The room was very spacious and modern. It had three large mirrors in all, which is something most accommodation falls short on. The staff were lovely, the barista made coffee was very good, and the location was excellent, being very close to many eating and drinking options. The only negatives I would say is that we rented a car from the airport, but still had to pay the hotel van driver $30 to check us in as our flight was after the office closed (as would most of the flights in I would think), and for $300 odd dollars a night, I would expect more than toast, 2 plain cereals, yogurt, sliced coconut, orange & apple for the included breakfast. I assume it is to push you to order a paid breakfast, which we did several times - my husband had the omelette every time as it was fabulous, I had halloumi and mushrooms on toast, which wasn’t good as the toast wasn’t buttered, halloumi not cooked and mushrooms just fried then some balsamic vinaigrette sprinkled over it. I assumed I was getting mushrooms in a cream sauce considering the time we waited for it, and it wasn’t busy.
Loved Moana Sands Lagoon, amazing views from our upstairs unit. Place felt clean & fresh throughout, staff were friendly & helpful and always busy cleaning and making things look nice. Loved how peaceful it was to relax by the pool and easy to stroll along the beach to the centre of Muri. A+++ we'll definitely be back.
Wonderful relaxing stay in a large room with gorgeous lagoon views. Relaxing by the large pool or wandering down along the lagoon to the heart of Muri Lagoon (about a 15 min walk ) quickly put us into holiday mode. Staff were so friendly and welcoming (special mention to the lovely April in the day spa and Va in the restaurant ). As others have mentioned the included breakfast is extremely basic, but easily supplemented with cooked eggs, etc for purchase, and on the evening we dined i house the meals were very well presented and great value for money. The ground staff and cleaners do a fantastic job of keeping the pool, grounds and rooms looking clean and inviting.
Will definitely plan a return visit.

This hotel was in a perfect location. We could access the lagoon which was filled with different fish, turtles and eagle rays. The kayaks and snorkelling equipment were included and free to use as you wished. This was a huge bonus as some places charged for all equipment. The Lagoon restaurant was amazing! Va looked after us so well as did the other staff. The food was spectacular!
You may need a car as the hotel is around towards Muri beach and not near the main part of town however there are plenty of resort bars, beach bars and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended!
