We had a wonderful stay at the Monteverde Villa Lodge. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed drinks on the patio in the company of the lodge’s adorable pup. I think his name is Bobby. Loved having him welcome us home from our many excursions in the area. The lodge is within easy walking distance to the main town and restaurants, yet it provided us with a peaceful place to relax after our busy days of touring. The breakfasts were delicious and ample. The perfect way to start off a day of adventuring. Thank you for your hospitality. It was hard to leave!

Petit h?tel 2** typique, les chambres sont spacieuses, équipées d un frigo et pour certaines d une petite kitchenette. Le personnel est très souriant, accueillant et a votre écoute.le petit déjeuner est servi a table selon un menu décliné en 3 propositions.une petite halte bien sympathique.Muchas Gracias a todos ??

Our stay at Monteverde Villa Lodge was absolutely delightful! The lodge served as our cozy home for two nights while exploring the beauty of Monteverde. Although the bed is very creaky. The property is charming, with a welcoming and quaint atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Christine, the host, was exceptional. Her warmth and helpfulness truly made our stay special. She provided excellent restaurant recommendations and even helped us book tours for the following day, ensuring we made the most of our time in the area. Her attentiveness and care were deeply appreciated. One unexpected highlight was Bobby, the resident big, lovable black dog. He was a delightful surprise and added a unique and heartwarming touch to our stay. The lodge's location was another perk—it was an easy walk into town, making it convenient to explore local attractions, shops, and eateries without any hassle. We highly recommend Monteverde Villa Lodge to anyone seeking a comfortable, friendly, and convenient base while visiting Monteverde. It’s a true gem!

Lugar muy lindo, habitaciones completas con todo lo necesario para pasar una buena estadia, la ubicación es excelente, nosotros para evitar el tráfico del centro nos ibamos caminando y en 10minutos estabamos en el centro, la atención es de las mejores cosas, la chica que esta en la recepción el día que llegamos super amable y atenta, nos dio mucha información sobre las actividades que podíamos hacer en la zona, hasta nos dejo hacer check in antes, el otro se?or en recepción también demasiado amable, lo unico que podría mejorar la verdad sería el desayuno, las porciones son demaciado peque?as, no sastifacen mucho, el check out me parece que es demasiado temprano; pienso que la relación de precio-calidad no esta acorde, no se si fue por la temporada o por los precios en si de la zona, pero creo que por el trato y la ubicación lo compensan un poco. Sin duda recomendaría quedarse en este hotel y volvería en mi próxima visita a este increible lugar que es Monteverde.

A very welcoming family-owned hotel. Staff were super kind and helpful. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. They helped us organize tours and answered all our questions about activities. Breakfasts were great! Lots of restaurants for other meals within easy walking distance.

Stayed in a cabana. Comfortable accommodation for family of four. The grounds felt like an oasis; lush vegetation and next to forested area. Very walkable to downtown area and restaurants. Only issue we had were the yappy little dogs at an adjacent property, but I don’t fault the property for that; out of their control. Otherwise very quiet. Covered common area is a nice place to hang out when raining. Staff very friendly and helpful with activity arrangements.

Our room was weird. The bedroom was wide open to the toilet. Not even a privacy curtain let alone a wall. There was even a full size mirror placed so even sitting on the bed, you can see anyone using the bathroom. You need to very comfortable with whoever you're staying with if you're in this room. I had to sit outside the room when my spouse wanted to use the bathroom. Furthermore, the deadbolt was missing on the front door. Other than that, the stay was fine

Our family of five stayed at this charming lodge with a hostel/B&B vibe. We were able to get a spacious room with two double beds and a twin, which was great for us. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms include a small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Breakfast is the only meal served and consists of tasty fruit, OJ, coffee, and eggs with a choice of pancakes, toast, or rice and beans. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and gave us great advice on excursions and travel routes. They helped us with reservations as well. The lodge is an easy walk to many restaurants, and onsite parking is good. There is no AC, but it isn’t necessary as it was very cool at night. The only issue we had was that we were there during the rainy season so it took a while for wet gear to dry. The hotel does do laundry for a fee. We loved this hotel and highly recommend.

Receptionist friendly and efficient. Checkin was quick and easy. Room was clean, furnishings fine. Access to second floor room was a ramp, not stairs. Complimentary breakfast was very good. First course of fruit, coffee, tea, juice. Second course of eggs, pancakes, toast. Hotel site was well removed from downtown nightlife noise, for those who prefer quiet. Onsite parking was ample.

We highly recommend this wonderful hotel! The owner, Anna, is really lovely and kind. The staff are all very friendly and incredibly helpful with answering questions and booking adventures. It is clean and cozy. Also, they served us the best coffee I have had in Costa Rica. The breakfast was delicious. It was a great stay!
